Learn Geeta — Privacy Policy

Prashant Kolse built the Learn Geeta app. This page explains how I collect, use, and disclose information when you use the Learn Geeta app ("the Service").
By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Privacy Policy. I do not sell your personal information, and I will not use or share it with anyone except as described here.
Information I Collect
To provide sign-in, sync your progress across devices, and personalize your profile, I collect the following information through the app:
Name and email address — required during profile setup to create your account, regardless of sign-in method.
Phone number — required to sign in via OTP verification through Firebase Phone Authentication.
Date of birth (optional) — if you choose to provide this, it is stored to personalize your experience further.
Profile picture (optional) — if you choose to add a profile photo, it is stored using Firebase Storage and is associated with your account.
Device information — phone manufacturer, phone model, and Device ID, used for app performance, compatibility, and troubleshooting.
App usage and crash/log data — collected automatically through Firebase services to help me diagnose errors and improve the Service.

The app uses the following third-party services:
Google Play Services
Firebase Authentication (phone number / OTP sign-in)
Firebase Cloud Firestore (account and profile data storage)
Firebase Cloud Storage (profile picture and audio content storage)
Firebase Cloud Messaging (notifications)

Data Retention and Deletion
I retain your account information for as long as your account is active, or as needed to provide you the Service. If you would like your account and associated data deleted, contact me at the email below and I will remove it within a reasonable time, except where retention is required by law.
How to Request Account Deletion
To request deletion of your Learn Geeta account and associated data (phone number, profile information, and any saved progress), please email prakolshant@yahoo.com with the subject line "Delete My Account" from the email or phone number associated with your account.
We will delete your account and all associated personal data (phone number, name, email, profile picture) within 7 business days, except where retention is required by law.
Security
I value your trust in providing your Personal Information and strive to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and I cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children's Privacy
This Service does not address anyone under the age of 13. I do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
I may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. I will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
