Dr. Freeman received her Psy.D. in Clinical Psychology and an Interdisciplinary Autism Certificate from Eastern Kentucky University in 2020 as well as a Graduate Certificate in Psychology- Applied Behavior Analysis in 2022. She is licensed to practice psychology in Kentucky. Her primary employment is in academia where she teaches within a graduate training program in clinical psychology.
Her clinical interests include working with children and adolescents with a wide range of emotional and behavioral challenges and developmental differences; working with parents and families to learn new strategies for building their relationships with their children and each other; and working with people of all ages who are encountering challenges adjusting to significant changes in their lives.
Her research has focused on topics such as intervention planning, interprofessional leadership, and assessment of Autism Spectrum Disorders.
