Camp Housing

Ellsworth Hall

All Campers will be housed in the same dorm in either doubles or quads. Double rooms and quads will have bathrooms located in the dorm room. If you have an accommodation request please email Jennifer Laverentz jenlav@ku.edu

About Ellsworth

Featuring beautiful views of the entire campus, Ellsworth Hall sits atop Daisy Hill. It is within easy walking distance of five other residence halls and Mrs. E's Dining Center. The hall has suites and traditional two-person rooms. The hall opened in 1963 and was renovated in 2003.

Directions

Ellsworth Hall is located on Daisy Hill at 1734 Engel Road. From 1-70 follow McDonald drive until it merges with Iowa street. From Iowa turn left onto 15th Street. Turn right onto Engel Drive. Engel Drive will terminate in the Ellsworth parking lot.

Classrooms

Learned Hall

All of the classes will meet in Learned Hall located within the School Of Engineering Complex

Most engineering classes are taught in Learned Hall, named for Stanley Learned, a 1924 civil engineering graduate and loyal supporter of KU who was president and chief executive officer of Phillips Petroleum Co. The building also is the home for the Department of Civil, Environmental and Architectural Engineering, the Department of Aerospace Engineering, The Department of Chemical and Petroleum Engineering and the Department of Mechanical Engineering.
