Our preschool program prepares children for kindergarten with a blend of academic readiness and creative play. We focus on pre-reading, math concepts, art, and critical thinking while encouraging cooperation and emotional growth.

Before and After school care consists of daily reading, homework support, and play. School Age children will lead activities and be role models for the younger groups of children.

Our day kicks off with a warm welcome and free-choice activities, allowing children to ease into the morning at their own pace. This is followed by a nutritious breakfast and essential clean-up time, preparing them for a day of discovery.
7:00am-8:30am: Arrival and free choice
8:30am-9:15am: Breakfast
9:15am-9:30am: Clean up, potty, and diapers

The core of our learning happens during circle time, where we explore stories, new topics, and daily routines. Creative arts and crafts, along with fine motor activities, stimulate young minds before we head outside for some energizing outdoor play.
9:30am-10:00am: Circle time (story time, instruction on topic, calendar/weather, sharing)
10:00am-10:45am: Arts/crafts, fine motor activities, learning centers, small groups
10:45am-11:15am: Outdoor time (run, jump, climb, bike – gross motor skills)

Nourishment and quiet time
Midday is dedicated to nourishing bodies and minds. After washing up, we enjoy a healthy lunch, followed by quiet reading and a peaceful rest period. This essential downtime allows children to recharge for the afternoon's activities.
11:15am-11:30am: Wash hands and potty

12:15pm-12:30pm: Clean up, potty/diaper, and reading time
12:30pm-3:15pm: Rest time and quiet time

Our afternoons bring a revitalizing snack, followed by more free-choice activities and additional outdoor time. We pride ourselves on having a large covered patio, ensuring plenty of outdoor play regardless of the weather. This flexibility is a parent favorite!

We love to make each day special with celebrations for holidays, birthdays, and individual achievements. These moments add excitement and joy to our routine, creating lasting memories for every child at Leap and Learn with Ms. Jenn Childcare and Preschool.
