This page provides a comprehensive view of the credentials that support my work as an educator. My resume, academic recognitions and philosophy of education highlight professional experience and intentional practice — while my SMART goals reflect an ongoing commitment to growth and purposeful development.
Together, these materials illustrate both where I have been and how I continue to grow within the field of education. They represent a foundation built on service, learning and a deep commitment to supporting children, families and communities through meaningful educational practice.
Supporting School Readiness
Goal: My family and I will complete four structured learning activities per week during the summer focused on early literacy, sensory exploration, and fine motor development to support school readiness.
Specific: Implement a play-based summer learning plan aligned with AACPS summer break. The plan will include four weekly activities targeting letter and number recognition, early literacy, sensory exploration, and fine motor development for my four-year-old, with appropriate adaptations for my two-year-old. Activities will reinforce IEP goals.
Measurable: Complete at least 32 structured activities during summer break. By the end of summer, my four-year-old will identify at least 15 uppercase letters, count to 20 with minimal prompting, and demonstrate improved fine motor skills.
Attainable: Activities will use strategies from his IEP and play-based materials readily available at home and in the community.
Realistic: Four structured activities per week fit within our summer routine and support consistent skill development.
Time-bound: The plan will be implemented throughout AACPS summer break.

Family Wellness
Goal: For the duration of summer, my family will take three 20-30 minute walks weekly in our community to support personal wellness, child development, and quality time.
Specific: Establish a family walking routine of three 20–30 minute walks per week. Two walks will take place on the Baltimore & Annapolis (B&A) Trail near our home, and one walk will occur near the Crofton Branch Library before or after story time to combine literacy and physical activity.
Measurable: Complete three walks per week, each lasting 20–30 minutes.
Attainable: The B&A Trail and Crofton Library are free, accessible community resources that support consistent family participation.
Realistic: Three weekly walks fit within our family routine and allow flexibility based on weather and scheduling.
Time-bound: The routine will begin once outdoor temperatures consistently reach 50 degrees and will continue throughout the warmer months.

Enter a Quilt in the County Fair
Goal: Design, create, and submit one original wall-hanging quilt to the Anne Arundel County Fair by September 1.
Specific: Design and complete one handmade quilted wall hanging to submit for exhibition in the Anne Arundel County Fair.
Measurable: Complete all stages of the quilting process. Track progress using the “Quilt Project Tracker” checklist to document completion of each phase.
Attainable: The quilt will be created using existing quilting skills, tools, and materials. Dedicated sewing time of two hours per week will be scheduled to ensure steady progress.
Realistic: By dividing the project into manageable phases and aligning sewing sessions with family and academic schedules, completion is achievable without disrupting other responsibilities.
Time-bound: The quilt will be fully completed and ready for submission by September 1.
