INFORMATION COLLECTION AND USE

LeafLog does not collect, transmit, or share any personal information or user data with third parties.
All data generated through your use of the app is stored locally on your device and remains under your complete control.

PERMISSIONS REQUIRED

Photos Access

Used to upload photos of your plants. Photos are stored locally on your device only.
You may deny this permission and manually select photos from your gallery instead.

Storage Access

Required to save and retrieve plant photos.
All images are saved in the app’s private directory and are not accessible to other apps or services.
These photos are used only within LeafLog to display your plant gallery.

LOCAL DATA STORAGE

LeafLog uses Hive, a secure local database, to store your plant information — including names, watering schedules, care logs, and photo references.
This data never leaves your device.

Data stored locally includes:

• Plant names and custom notes

• Watering schedules and reminders

• Care history logs (watering, fertilizing, pruning)

• Photo file paths stored privately

• App preferences such as theme settings

NO THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

LeafLog does not integrate with:

• Analytics platforms

• Cloud storage providers

We do not use cookies, tracking pixels, or monitoring technologies of any kind.

DATA RETENTION AND DELETION

Your data remains on your device until you delete it or uninstall the app.
When a plant entry is deleted, all related photos and logs are permanently removed.
Uninstalling the app deletes all data completely.

CHILDREN’S PRIVACY

LeafLog does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
The app is suitable for all ages and contains no age-restricted content.

DATA SECURITY

Because all information is stored locally, your data security depends on your device’s protection.
We recommend enabling device encryption and screen lock for optimal safety.

CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically.
Changes will be reflected in the “Last Updated” date above.
Continued use of the app implies acceptance of the revised policy.
