Note: Payment card and billing data are processed by Apple, not directly by LeafChat.
2.4 Plant and App Feature Data
- Plant records created through app features (such as plant name/species/notes where applicable)
- Entitlement sync data required to keep plan and credit state consistent
2.5 Community and Messaging Data
- Depending on feature version, posts, chat messages (including voice messages), saved items, follows, blocks, and reports may be stored on-device and/or in backend systems.
2.6 Device and Technical Data
- Push notification authorization status
- Push preference settings (likes/comments/follows/messages)
- Device push token (stored locally for notification flow)
- Basic diagnostics and error context needed for security and support

- apply plan limits, restore purchases, and entitlement sync;

- Apple, for Sign In and in-app purchase/subscription flows;

8) Account Deletion and Local Data Clearing
In-app deletion path:
Profile -> Settings -> Delete Account
When account deletion is completed:
- account-linked backend data is deleted according to system design and legal obligations;
- local app data linked to your session is cleared from the device as part of logout/deletion flows.
9) Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to:
- access your personal data;
- request correction;
- request deletion;
- object to or restrict certain processing;
- request portability where applicable;
- withdraw consent where processing depends on consent;
- file a complaint with your local data protection authority.
10) Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including protected local credential storage and controlled access to backend systems. No system is completely secure.
