Effective 26 October 2026. LeadPilot is a Chrome extension published by Jay Patel. Contact: jayparasia552002@gmail.com.
LeadPilot saves leads you choose on LinkedIn Sales Navigator into a Google Sheet that you own. The developer runs no servers and never receives, stores, sells or shares your data. LeadPilot asks for your agreement in its popup before it reads anything on LinkedIn.
Lead details from pages you visit: name, job title, company, city and country, industry when shown, the lead's Sales Navigator URL and LinkedIn profile URL. After you agree to its data notice, LeadPilot reads these from the Sales Navigator and LinkedIn pages you open to fill its panel, keeps them in memory, and sends only the leads you choose to save.
What you enter: notes and a status for each lead, your message templates, your Google Apps Script web app URL, and your sheet's tab names.
Saved-lead history: the URL of each lead you have saved, kept on your device to warn you about duplicates. This is the Sales Navigator URL, or the LinkedIn profile URL for a lead saved from a LinkedIn profile page.
Activity check: on LinkedIn pages, LeadPilot notices mouse movement and key presses so it can pause automatic lookups after 5 minutes without activity, and it listens for its Ctrl+L save shortcut. It does not record what you type or where you click.
Only to provide its features: showing the leads you selected, letting you review and edit them, finding each selected lead's LinkedIn profile URL, saving them to your sheet, warning about duplicates, undoing a save, filling a lead's first name into a template you copy, and pausing lookups while you are away.
Your Google Sheet. When you click Confirm & Save, the selected leads are sent over HTTPS to the Google Apps Script web app you deployed in your own Google account, which writes them to your sheet. Undo sends the URLs of the leads you just saved and the tab names you chose; the script then removes every row in those tabs with the same lead URL, including an older row for the same person. The popup also asks your script for your sheet's tab names. Google's privacy policy and your Google account settings cover this data; the developer has no access to your script or sheet.
LinkedIn. With Auto profile lookup on (the default), LeadPilot clicks each selected lead's name to open its preview on the page and, if needed, loads the lead's Sales Navigator page in the background using your existing LinkedIn session, to find the lead's profile URL. These requests go only to linkedin.com. LinkedIn may record them as you viewing those people's profiles, which they may see, and it may restrict accounts that use automation. You can turn this off in the LeadPilot popup.
Chrome storage. Your settings (script URL, tab names and selections, templates, lookup and mode settings, and your agreement to the data notice) are kept in Chrome's sync storage, which Chrome copies across your devices if Chrome Sync is on. Your saved-lead history stays in local storage on this device. LeadPilot also keeps a count of background lookups in the LinkedIn tab's session storage; it holds only a number and clears when you close the tab.
Clipboard. The copy buttons put text on your clipboard. LeadPilot never reads your clipboard.
Nobody else. LeadPilot has no analytics, ads or trackers, and it loads no code or files from other servers.
Settings stay until you change them or uninstall LeadPilot. The saved-lead history stays on your device until you uninstall LeadPilot. Rows in your Google Sheet are yours to edit or delete at any time. Uninstalling LeadPilot removes everything it stored in Chrome's extension storage. It does not remove the Apps Script web app you deployed, which keeps accepting requests from anyone who has its URL. To turn it off, archive the deployment in Apps Script (Deploy → Manage deployments) or delete the script.
Data sent to your Apps Script travels over HTTPS. Setup deploys the script with access set to Anyone, so your web app URL works like a key: anyone who has it can add or delete rows, create tabs and see your tab names. Keep it private. If it leaks, archive that deployment in Apps Script (Deploy → Manage deployments) and create a new one.
The leads you save are people on LinkedIn. You are responsible for using their information lawfully, including under data protection laws that apply to you, and in line with LinkedIn's terms.
LeadPilot's use of information complies with the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. LeadPilot uses your data only to save the leads you choose to your own Google Sheet and to provide the features above. It does not sell the data, use it for advertising, or use it to decide credit or lending, and nobody, including the developer, reads it.
If this policy changes, we will update this page and its effective date. If LeadPilot starts handling data differently, the extension will tell you before it does.
