THE PROGRAM

The Certificate Course on Leadership in Development has been planned with the aim to give the youth an opportunity to learn and develop themselves while contributing to the growth of their society.

For the successful participants, the certificate will be issued jointly by Leaders For Tomorrow and Miranda House, Delhi University.

This transformative program is aimed at instilling leadership qualities, social reponsibility, community service etc. to create true leaders for tomorrow. Thus, this program is aimed at achieving twin goals of providing personality development and social development.

Through activity-based personality development training modules, we impart training in life skills, public speaking, confidence building, team work etc.

This is the first of its kind platform for the university students to learn about various development issues and help them become catalysts of change.

The 3 modules in the months of May-June, Sept-Oct, and December and March, each followed by a major on-field project will ensure that each trainee is given an opportunity to make an impact as part of the program.

The 3 components of the training will include:

  • Lectures/Talks on development issues by subject experts
  • Activity-based personality development sessions
  • Opportunity to lead on-the-field development projects

This will be supplemented by 'Meet the Leader' program to interact with leaders in the development sector and in various other fields like government, media, diplomacy, and civil society.

  • April 4th – Application open for One year Certificate Course on Leadership in Development
  • April 14th – 1st round of application closes. Interviews begin
  • April 20th – First list of candidates announced
  • April 21st – 2nd round of applications open (sub. to avail. of seats)
  • April 28th – 2nd round of application closes. Interviews begin
  • May 19th - 3rd round of application opens.
  • May 20th – Last date for payment of fees
  • May 28th – 8th June - Certificate course phase 1

    • 1st and 2nd year undergraduate students
    • Recent Class 12 pass outs

Leaders For Tomorrow is a youth leadership movement aimed at igniting the social consciousness of the youth while providing them with opportunities to enhance their leadership skills.

As youngsters, we all feel strongly about many social issues around us. Most of us are looking for a flexible platform to participate in solving the major problems faced by our nation. Leaders for Tomorrow is that platform, where we believe that instead of always waiting on the system to do something, we should all come together to do our bit for the society.

Today, Leaders for Tomorrow is the largest youth movement for social development in Delhi NCR reaching out to nearly 7 Lakh College students, that is now growing globally.

It is with the belief that together we can usher in a great future for our nation that we work hand in hand to bring real social change.
