Leadership Lake Country

Leadership Lake Country is a ten-month program with sessions devoted to topics that directly impact community growth and quality of life: leadership, healthcare, education, civic organizations, government, industrial and economic development, law enforcement, culture and arts.

Our Mission:

The mission of Leadership Lake Country is to create an expanding pool of people who will form the nucleus of the community’s future. Participants will be leaders in their home, workplace, and community. Tuition of $300 is supplied by participants’ employers, and applications can be found here.

Our Objectives:

The objectives of Leadership Lake Country are to assist participants in developing their own leadership potential by exposing them to and educating them about the role and workings of local and state government, civic and volunteer organizations, economic opportunities, regional history, cultural events, and educational practices and availability. A primary focus of Leadership Lake Country is to promote community pride and strength. Participation in Leadership Lake Country will provide understanding of local procedures of community functioning and prepare graduates to respond effectively to the reality of challenges in their communities.
