This Privacy Policy explains how Lead Their Learning collects, uses, stores, and shares information when parents or guardians use the Lead Their Learning mobile application and related services.

1. Information We Collect
Lead Their Learning is designed around parent or guardian accounts and personalized learning plans for children.
We may collect information including:
Parent or guardian account information, such as:
• Email address
• Authentication and account information
• Account preferences
Child learning profile information, such as:
• First name
• Birth date
• Current learning level
• School-year dates
• Preferred lesson duration
Learning and educational information, such as:
• Placement responses and results
• Skills and mastery progress
• Lesson attempts and completed lessons
• Daily learning plans
• Scheduling and curriculum progress
• Homeschool records
• School-calendar information
• Learning history and related educational records
Parent Coach information, such as:
• Questions or messages submitted to the Parent Coach
• Recent Coach conversation history
• Recommendations generated by the Coach
• Relevant learning context used to provide a response
• Parent-provided notes
• Usage records associated with Coach features
Feedback, including beta feedback or other comments submitted through the app.
Lead Their Learning may also store limited information locally on the user’s device to support application functionality and session-related features.
2. How We Use Information
We use information to:
• Create and manage parent accounts
• Create personalized learning profiles for children
• Generate placement-informed learning paths
• Build and adapt daily lesson plans
• Track educational progress and mastery
• Maintain learning history and homeschool records
• Provide Parent Coach responses and recommendations
• Save preferences and selected learners
• Improve reliability and app functionality
• Respond to support or privacy requests
• Protect the security and integrity of the service
• Process account-deletion requests
We do not use child learning information for advertising.
3. Parent Coach and Artificial Intelligence
Lead Their Learning includes a Parent Coach feature that uses artificial intelligence.
When a parent uses the Parent Coach, information necessary to generate a useful response may be sent to OpenAI, our artificial-intelligence service provider.
Depending on the question and available learning context, this information may include:
• The parent’s Coach message
• The child’s first name
• Current learning level
• Preferred lesson duration
• Current or recent learning plans
• Lesson and curriculum information
• Skill progress and mastery information
• Recent learning history
• Parent notes
• Recent Parent Coach conversation history
This information is used to generate the requested coaching response.
Parents should avoid entering information into Parent Coach messages that is not necessary for educational guidance.
4. Service Providers
We use third-party service providers to operate Lead Their Learning.
Supabase
We use Supabase for services including:
• User authentication
• Database storage
• Application backend services
• Server-side functions
Information associated with parent accounts, child learning profiles, learning history, Coach conversations, and related application records may be processed and stored through Supabase.
OpenAI
We use OpenAI to generate responses for the Parent Coach feature.
Information is sent to OpenAI only as necessary to provide the Coach response requested by the parent.
Expo
Lead Their Learning is built using Expo technology. Expo may provide application infrastructure such as application delivery, updates, and related technical services.
These service providers process information according to their own applicable terms and privacy practices.
5. Local Device Storage
Lead Their Learning uses local device storage for certain application functionality.
This may include session-related information, preferences, or other information needed for the app to operate correctly.
Removing the application from a device may remove locally stored application data, but it does not automatically delete the user’s Lead Their Learning account or server-side learning records.
Users can permanently delete their account using the account-deletion feature in the app.
6. Children’s Privacy
Lead Their Learning is designed for use by parents and guardians to manage children’s educational activities.
Children do not create independent Lead Their Learning parent accounts.
Parents or guardians provide child information for the purpose of creating and managing educational plans and records.
We use child-related information only for providing and operating the educational features of Lead Their Learning and related support functions.
We do not use child information for behavioral advertising.

7. Advertising and Sale of Personal Information
Lead Their Learning does not currently include third-party advertising SDKs.
We do not sell personal information or child learning information to advertisers.
We do not use child learning information for targeted or behavioral advertising.
8. Account Deletion
Parents can permanently delete their Lead Their Learning family account from within the app.
Go to:
Profile → Account & Privacy → Delete Family Account
Account deletion permanently removes the parent login and associated family learning data.
Our account-deletion process removes parent-owned information and deletes associated child records and their related learning data, including records linked through our database relationships.
Account deletion cannot be undone.

9. Data Retention
We retain account and learning information for as long as necessary to provide Lead Their Learning and maintain the user’s account.
When an account is permanently deleted through the in-app deletion process, the associated account and family learning records are deleted as part of that process.
Some information may be retained when required by law, necessary for security or fraud prevention, or otherwise legally permitted.
10. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures designed to protect information associated with Lead Their Learning.
Access to parent and child records is restricted through authentication and database access controls.
No method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Sharing of Information
We do not sell personal information.
We may share or process information with service providers when necessary to operate Lead Their Learning, including Supabase, OpenAI, and Expo.
We may also disclose information where required by law, legal process, or when reasonably necessary to protect users, our services, or the rights and safety of others.
12. Your Choices and Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights concerning your personal information, including rights to request access, correction, or deletion.
Lead Their Learning provides an in-app account-deletion feature.
