Hi,
I'm a researcher at Leeds University Business School & the London School of Economics and Political Science.
I'm a researcher at Leeds University Business School & the London School of Economics and Political Science.
My research investigates the role of intangibles—such as language, labor, culture, law, or ideas—in a world shaped by evolving monetary policies. The research questions I pursue are both fundamental and applied, and I approach them from a macroeconomic perspective, employing a wide array of methods.
I am also affiliated with the Vienna Institute for International Economic Studies and WU Vienna and hold a PhD in Economics from HU Berlin. In 2024-2025, I was a Max-Kade-fellow at Harvard University. Before that, I worked in the Research Department of the European Central Bank, and spent Fall 2022 as a visiting researcher at UC Berkeley. As a researcher, I have consulted the United Nations' Department of Economic and Social Affairs.
