Analía Morales and Gabriel Ponce are renowned Argentine tango dancers, choreographers, and teachers—especially known as a professional dance couple in the world of Argentine tango.

🕺 Who They Are

Argentine tango professionals: Both are internationally recognized for their work in Tango Argentino and Argentine folklore dance. They have built a reputation over more than 20 years of dancing together. 

Former national ballet dancers: Early in their careers, they danced with the National Folkloric Ballet of Argentina (Ballet Folklórico Nacional), where they stood out as leading performers. 

Tango X2 Company: For roughly 15–17 years they were part of the legendary Tango X2 company led by Miguel Ángel Zotto, performing on major global stages (New York, Amsterdam, Rome, Hong Kong, and more). 

Shows and choreography: They’ve performed, choreographed, and taught worldwide—including being invited as dancers and choreographers at the Latin Grammy Awards (Las Vegas, 2010). 

🎓 Teaching & Judging

They regularly teach tango and folklore internationally, leading workshops, masterclasses, and festivals. 

They also serve as official judges at the World Tango Championship(Mundial de Tango) in Buenos Aires. 

💃 Performance Highlights

They have performed in historic tango venues in Argentina such as Señor Tango, El Viejo Almacén, and El Querandí. 

In Buenos Aires, they are known as the lead couple of Madero Tango—a prominent tango show blending performance and culture. 

Their style balances technical precision with expressive communication in both Tango de Escenario (stage tango) and Tango de Pista (social milonga style).

Gabriel Ponce has also appeared on Argentine television, for example on the show Showmatch: La Academia, performing tango alongside Analía Morales.
