If you want a protective, clip-on case for Beats Powerbeats Pro 2, choose LDSXAY Beats Powerbeats Pro; if you need open-ear wireless earbuds for running, choose xzqioue Earbuds. For running, the key difference is simple: LDSXAY adds protection and carrying convenience to compatible earbuds, while xzqioue is the actual earbud set and leaves your ears open to surrounding sound.
• LDSXAY’s strength: a shock-absorbing case with a locking latch, carabiner, and cleaning pen. Trade-off: it is a case for Beats Powerbeats Pro 2, not a pair of earbuds.
• xzqioue’s strength: open-ear, clip-on wireless earbuds designed to let you hear nearby sounds. Trade-off: the listed noise control is none, so they are not designed to block outside noise.
• Choose LDSXAY if you already own compatible Powerbeats Pro 2 earbuds and want a more secure way to carry and protect their charging case.
• Choose xzqioue if you need earbuds themselves, prefer an open fit for outdoor movement, and want a charging case with a built-in mirror and LED ring light.
LDSXAY is a protective cover for the Beats Powerbeats Pro 2 charging case. Its hybrid construction combines thermoplastic polyurethane with carbon fiber materials, and the design includes a locking latch intended to help keep the case closed if it gets knocked or dropped. That makes it a practical add-on for someone who carries earbuds in a gym bag, backpack, or pocket alongside other items.
The carabiner gives you another way to carry the covered case: it can be clipped to a bag, belt loop, or keychain. There is also a multifunctional cleaning pen for clearing dust from the earbuds. Cutouts are designed to preserve access to charging and case functions without removing the cover. In everyday terms, the appeal is less about changing how the earbuds sound and more about making their case easier to carry, protect, and maintain.
This product only fits Beats Powerbeats Pro 2, so it is not a substitute for earbuds and should not be confused with a complete headphone set. The main trade-off is that its usefulness depends entirely on already owning that specific compatible model. Who should skip it: anyone looking for a new pair of wireless headphones, or anyone whose earbuds are not Powerbeats Pro 2.
How We Research
We compare products from their published specs and features; the verdicts below are our independent editorial opinions.

The charging case is its most distinctive everyday feature. It has a built-in mirror with an LED ring light, which could be handy for a quick look or touch-up while traveling. The case also has a 300mAh battery described as providing multiple earbud recharges. A dynamic driver handles audio, but the open design and absence of noise control are important limits: these are not the choice for someone who wants to shut out a loud commute or concentrate in a noisy space.
The fit and listening style are the bigger decision than the decorative case. An open, clip-on design may appeal to someone who dislikes the feeling of in-ear earbuds and wants more awareness of their surroundings. But the product information does not give a specific earbud playtime figure, so I would not assume a particular number of listening hours from the case capacity alone. Who should skip it: anyone seeking noise cancellation, an ear-sealing fit, or a protective cover for Powerbeats Pro 2.
• Best for protecting Powerbeats Pro 2 → LDSXAY. Its shock-absorbing case and locking latch are specifically made for that charging case.
• Best for getting earbuds in the package → xzqioue. LDSXAY is an accessory; xzqioue is a wireless earbud set.
• Best for outdoor awareness → xzqioue. Its open-ear air-conduction design is intended to leave surrounding sounds audible.
• Best for attaching the charging case to a bag → LDSXAY. The included carabiner gives the covered Powerbeats case a clip-on carrying option.
• Best for a built-in mirror and light → xzqioue. Its case includes a mirror with an LED ring light for quick checks on the go.
• Best for cleaning support → LDSXAY. The package includes a multifunctional cleaning pen for the earbuds.
• Best for a quieter listening environment → neither based on the listed features. xzqioue specifies no noise control, and LDSXAY does not include earbuds or describe their sound performance.
• Best for someone searching for the best foldable headphone for running → neither is a foldable headphone. LDSXAY is a case cover, while xzqioue is an open-ear clip-on earbud set.
The first thing I would check is what the product actually includes. LDSXAY’s name refers to Beats Powerbeats Pro, but the item described is a cover for the Powerbeats Pro 2 charging case. It does not include the earbuds. If you own a different Powerbeats model, the stated compatibility does not support assuming the cover will fit.
For xzqioue, consider whether open-ear listening matches your surroundings. Hearing nearby sounds can be useful while walking or running outdoors, but it also means outside noise is not blocked by the listed design. Someone who wants immersive listening or fewer distractions may prefer a different style of earbud. The product details also do not specify a water-resistance rating, so they do not establish that these are IPX7 waterproof earphones for running. Do not treat open-ear design as a waterproof claim.
Battery details deserve a careful read, too. The xzqioue case is listed with a 300mAh battery and described as providing multiple recharges, but no exact earbud playtime is supplied in the product data. That is different from a stated number of hours of continuous use. LDSXAY’s case-cover details, meanwhile, do not provide battery or audio information because the accessory is not an earbud set.
Finally, think about the kind of convenience you will actually use. A carabiner and cleaning pen are useful only if you want to carry and maintain compatible Powerbeats Pro 2 earbuds this way. A mirror and LED ring light are specific to the xzqioue case and may be appealing for travel, but they are separate from the core question of fit and listening style. If you are comparing wireless headphones for running, decide first whether you want a protective accessory for earbuds you already own or a new open-ear set.
For running, I would choose xzqioue if I needed earbuds and valued an open design that leaves nearby sounds audible. I would choose LDSXAY only if I already owned Powerbeats Pro 2 and wanted added case protection, a latch, and a carabiner. My overall pick for someone choosing between these two as a listening product is xzqioue, because it is the actual earbud set; LDSXAY is a useful but narrowly compatible accessory.
FAQ
Their open-ear air-conduction design is described as letting the wearer hear surrounding sounds, which may suit outdoor running. The product data does not state a water-resistance rating, so it does not confirm they are waterproof for running.
The listed noise control is none. Their open-ear design is intended to keep the surrounding environment audible, not to isolate the listener from it.
Choose LDSXAY if you want a cover made for the Powerbeats Pro 2 case, with a locking latch, shock-absorbing materials, and a carabiner. Choose xzqioue only if you are looking for a separate wireless earbud set rather than a case accessory.
