Attendees coming in-person can enjoy Boston's new 305 feet tall building (total of 19 stories!)  alongside the winding Charles River. Each floor is askew and gives the impression of a pile of stacked books or a tower of Jenga blocks. That's not all! There are a variety of activities to do, places to see and food to eat that will make it difficult to not want to stay longer, let alone attend virtually! 

Boston is also known for its diverse and distinctive neighborhoods.  In Cambridge there are the Central, Harvard, Inman, Kendall, Porter and Davis Squares that provide unique and new perspectives into the various cultures residing in Boston. Over the years, the University’s daily news website,  BU Today has profiled many sections of the city with the BU community in mind.

• Logan International Airport ---> BU's Center for Computing & Data Sciences:

  • If you are renting a car, you will be driving on the I-90 to get to Boston University.

  • If you are using public transit (Massport/MBTA), you may take the following route:

    1. Free Massport Shuttle Bus 33, 55,  or 66 to Water Transport Dock from Terminal E (Arrivals)

    2.  1 min walk to Airport Station

    3.  Take MBTA Blue line towards Bowdoin and Stop at Government Center

    4. Transfer to B (Green) Line towards Boston College

    5. Stop at Boston University East

    6. 1 min. walk to Boston University - Center for Computing & Data Sciences

  • If you are using LEX (LEX/MBTA), you may take the following route:

    1. The Logan Express (LEX) from Terminal E (Arrivals)

    2.  Take LEX BB towards Back Bay

    3. Stop at 800 Boylston St.

    4. 7 min. walk towards the Hynes Convention Center Station

    5. Take the B (Green) line towards Boston College

    6. Stop at Boston University East

    7. 1 min. walk to Boston University - Center for Computing & Data Sciences
