A Lédger® Live Account is used to organize and manage supported cryptocurrency accounts through Ledger's official application. Ledger Live is being transitioned to Ledger Wallet™, but official Ledger pages still use both names during the transition. The application works with compatible Ledger hardware devices and lets users view portfolios, manage accounts, and perform supported crypto transactions.
Unlike a conventional exchange login, Ledger states that Ledger Live does not require users to sign in with an email address and password simply to manage their wallet. Your Ledger device is used as the security component for accessing and authorizing wallet operations.
To get started, download the application directly from Ledger's official website, select the version for Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, or Android, and follow the setup instructions. You can then connect your compatible Ledger device and create or manage supported crypto accounts through the application.
Security reminder: Never share your Secret Recovery Phrase, PIN, or private keys with anyone. Avoid unofficial Ledger applications and websites that request sensitive wallet information.
