Lédger® Live — Secure Crypto Management Made Simple
Lédger® Live, now officially known as Ledger Wallet™, is the companion application designed to work with Ledger hardware wallets. It allows users to view and manage their crypto accounts, install supported blockchain applications, monitor portfolios, and perform supported transactions while using their Ledger device for transaction authorization. The current Ledger Wallet app is available for Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, and Android.
The application provides several useful functions for Ledger hardware-wallet users:
Portfolio Management: View supported crypto accounts and portfolio information from one interface.
Hardware Wallet Integration: Connect your Ledger device to manage supported assets.
App Management: Install the required blockchain applications through the My Ledger section.
Crypto Transactions: Send and receive supported digital assets while confirming transactions on your Ledger device.
Multi-Platform Support: Ledger Wallet is offered for desktop and mobile operating systems.
Web3 Access: Current Ledger Wallet features also provide access to selected decentralized applications and services.
Visit Ledger's official website and choose the Ledger Wallet download option. Select the version compatible with your device, such as Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS, or Android.
Download the installer and follow the instructions displayed on your screen. Avoid downloading Ledger software from unofficial websites or advertisements.
Use the appropriate cable or supported connection method to connect your Ledger hardware wallet. Unlock the device using your PIN when prompted.
After connecting your device, open the My Ledger section. From here, you can manage the applications installed on your Ledger device and install apps required for supported cryptocurrencies.
Follow the application's instructions to add supported accounts. You can then review balances and transaction activity through the application.
When sending crypto, carefully review the transaction details displayed on your Ledger device before approving anything. Never approve a transaction you do not recognize.
Download Ledger Wallet only from official Ledger channels.
Never share your PIN or Secret Recovery Phrase.
Ledger will not ask you to provide your 24-word recovery phrase for routine support or updates.
Avoid unofficial “Ledger support” websites and applications.
Always verify transaction details on your physical Ledger device.
Lédger® Live remains a common name for Ledger's crypto management application, but the current official branding is Ledger Wallet™. Using the official application together with a genuine Ledger hardware wallet provides a straightforward way to manage supported digital assets while maintaining control of your wallet credentials.
