Lédger® Live Not Working — Quick Troubleshooting Guide
If Lédger® Live is not working, start by checking your internet connection, restarting the application, and confirming that you are using the latest official version. Ledger now also presents its current application as Ledger Wallet™ (formerly Ledger Live), so users may see both names while looking for downloads or support.
If the application does not recognize your hardware wallet, reconnect the device using its original or compatible USB cable, unlock it with your PIN, and reopen the application. Ledger's official setup information also recommends connecting the device and following the instructions displayed by the application.
For desktop problems, check whether your operating system is supported and install the current version from Ledger's official download page. If you suspect that an installation file may be corrupted or altered, Ledger provides an official tool for verifying the installation binary using its SHA-512 hash.
Security reminder: Never provide your Secret Recovery Phrase, PIN, or private keys to someone claiming to fix Ledger Live. Use only official Ledger resources when troubleshooting wallet software.
