Section A - General Rules:
Taser Usage
1A - Tasing other officers and friends as a joke will lead to dismissal.
1B - To perform /resettaser you must go to a suitable location such as a car or station.
1C - Over using a taser can kill, do not overdo it and use it to a minimum.
Tackle Usage
2A - Tackle must not be spammed as this is unrealistic.
2B - If someone has a knife, you won't tackle them in real life as this puts more danger on you.
Searching People
3A - If they have been arrested search them under section 32 of PACE.
3B - If they are in an area of a shootout search them under section 60 of PACE.
3C - For a stop and search, as you expect someone to have something illegal, section 1 of PACE.
Negotiations
4A - Only negotiation trained officers should be handling negotiations, consult the negotiation handbook.
4B - You MUST stick to negotiations that you have offered unless there is a valid reason not to such as harm to the hostage.
Driving
5A - Follow the rules of the road.
5B - Do not overtake cars in a pursuit unless communicated so.
5C - If you crash, actually RP it out and don't just drive off.
5D - You CANNOT PIT stop at speeds exceeding 100mph.
Firearm Usage
6A - Never ever have a firearm on you if you aren’t trained.
6B - FTO officers are to assist ARV when needed, not use it for small stuff.
6C - ARV are not CTSFO, just remember that.
6D - You are not to have all weapons on you, go to your car and get a different weapon type out.
Panic Button Usage
7A - Do not tell non officers to use the panic button.
7B - Do not use the panic button when off duty.
7C - Do not use your button once dead, this is power gaming.
Training
8A - Do not use anything you are not trained to use.
Traffic Stops
9A - No form of firearms to to be withdrawn at any traffic stop unless the stop is related to a firearms investigation with evidence
Section B - Unit Specifics:
PCSOs
No weapons or vehicles for the first hour.
Must learn the British caution and search section (Section 1 ,32 & 60).
Must show that they can do their job effectively before becoming a fully trained constable.
Constables
Weapons - taser, baton & flashlight.
Constables can apply to become a Fire Armed Trained Officer (Glock 17) on their first day but will not get it until the following night or next morning
FTO Officers
Constables can decide if they wish to join the Response Section who respond to any and all jobs that come in (apart from fire-arms unless AFO), Traffic who attend jobs but focus on Policing the roads and leading the pursuits or Dog section (This will be tough to get into).
Constables can pick their call sign depending on what unit they enter.
Traffic (TANGO Call sign)
Uniform for Traffic is on the MET DISCORD RPU page under “Clothing”.
Traffic is to always take 1st in a pursuit when possible, deal with the traffic on the road but to respond to back up requests made by other units when needed.
TRAFFIC’s driving should be above the good standard.
Response
Uniform for response Is under the “PCSO & CONSTABLE” page on the MET DISCORD.
Response main duty is to respond to jobs that come in via the phone, texts and warnings on screen like “Carjacking in progress at”. You can still do traffic duties, but you do not take 1st in any pursuits.
ARV (TROJAN Call signs)
ARV (Armed Response Vehicle/Unit) are to attend jobs involving any and all weapons, ARV will take the lead on house/bank/atm robberies and anything else that might include extra danger to officers. ARV are also traffic trained so will assist traffic whenever they are free.
ARV officers will have sidearms/ARs/Shotguns.
ARV officers can be trained in usage of other firearms
CTSFO (ROMEO Call Signs)
CTSFO has a lower fear for life value, however you are not superman. Three firearms outweigh you.
CTSFO should be one of the first people to enter a breach scenario as they are the most trained to do so.
NPAS
NPAS’s duties are to track and relay information on suspects to ground units to prevent their escape, to track for Missing people and to give units information at robberies like how many suspects etc…
