Gracie, a preschool teacher, leads a large group activity around the storybook “Harry the Dirty Dog.” In this session, she helps the preschoolers build phonological awareness, alphabet knowledge, and their understanding of concepts of print – in what the Cox Campus calls “PAC Time.”
This activity supports literacy development by coaching the children on uppercase and lowercase letters, as well as reading left to right and top to bottom.
