Los Cerritos students of ALL levels of artistic talent, from pure beginner to accomplished artist, are welcome to participate. Interested Los Cerritos students may submit one or more entries in-person.
Students may interpret this year's theme and enter in one or more of the following categories:
Visual Arts (drawing, painting, sketching, etc.)
Literature (poem, short story, essay, etc.)
Photography (traditional, composite, etc.)
Dance Choreography (any style)
Music Composition (any style, any instrument)
Film Production (comedy, drama, documentary, music video, etc.)
Special Artist Division (students with disabilities who receive services under IDEA or ADA: Section 504)
ENTRY COLLECTION PROCEDURES:
Students may submit their artwork
IN-PERSON: ORIGINAL ENTRIES - collected outside the main entrance of Los Cerritos Middle School on October 14, 2021. Please email lcms.reflections@gmail.com to arrange a drop off time.
Entries are anonymously judged by adults with experience in the arts and/or education based on the entrants' unique interpretations of the theme. Students have the opportunity to receive awards from our local Conejo Council all the way up to our National PTA.
