LocalTune: Offline Music ("LocalTune", "the App", "we", "us", or "our") provides an offline music player for Android users who want to play and manage audio files that are already available on their device. This Privacy Policy describes what information may be processed when you use the App, how that information is used, and what choices you have.
LocalTune is built around local playback. It is not a music download service, streaming catalog, cloud music locker, or content marketplace. The App is intended for user-owned or user-accessible local audio files.
If you do not agree with this Privacy Policy, please do not use LocalTune.
1. Local-First Playback
Most core music activity happens on your device. LocalTune may read media information from audio files that you choose to access through the App, such as title, artist, album, duration, folder location, and format when this information is available from the file or Android media library.
This information is used to show songs, organize playback lists, open files, resume playback, and provide media controls. LocalTune does not upload your local music files to our servers for playback.
2. Information Stored on Your Device
Some information may be saved locally so the App can remember your listening setup. This may include playlists, recently played items, playback position, repeat or shuffle choices, folder browsing state, and other basic app preferences.
You can remove this local information by deleting items in the App where supported, clearing app data, or uninstalling the App from your device.
3. Diagnostic, Support, and Usage Information
We may process limited diagnostic or usage information to keep the App stable and improve playback reliability. This may include app version, Android version, device model, crash reports, performance events, language settings, and aggregated feature interaction data.
If you contact us, we may receive the email address, message content, screenshots, device details, or log files that you choose to send. We use support information to reply to you, investigate issues, and improve the App.
4. Android Permissions
LocalTune may request permissions only when they are needed for music player functions.
Media access may be used to display, import, and play local audio files that are stored on your device or accessible to you.
Notification and foreground playback behavior may be used to show visible playback controls while music is playing, including controls from the notification area or lock screen when supported by your device.
Internet access, if used, may support advertising, analytics, crash reporting, app updates, or support functions. LocalTune does not need internet access to play local audio files that are already available on your device.
5. How Information Is Used
Information may be used to:
- Provide local audio playback and playlist functions.
- Show available tracks, folders, albums, artists, and playback information when supported.
- Keep playback controls available during active listening.
- Save user preferences and playback state.
- Improve stability, performance, and compatibility.
- Respond to support requests.
- Protect the App from misuse and comply with legal or platform requirements.
We do not sell your personal information.
6. Third-Party Services
LocalTune may include third-party SDKs or services for advertising, analytics, crash reporting, distribution, or app performance measurement. These services may process device identifiers, advertising identifiers, approximate region, crash data, app interaction events, or similar technical information according to their own privacy policies.
The final third-party SDK list should be confirmed before publishing. Common services may include:
- Google Play services and Google AdMob:

Third-party services are responsible for their own privacy practices. We recommend reviewing their policies.
7. Sharing and Disclosure
We may share limited information only when necessary:
- With service providers that help operate, analyze, advertise, secure, or improve the App.
- When required by law, legal process, platform rules, or enforceable government request.
- To protect users, the public, the App, or our legal rights.
- During a business transfer such as merger, acquisition, restructuring, or asset sale.
- With your consent or at your direction.
We do not share your local audio files with third parties for independent music use.
8. Retention
Local playlists and playback settings may remain on your device until you delete them, clear app data, or uninstall the App. Support messages and diagnostic records may be retained as long as reasonably needed for support, legal compliance, dispute resolution, security, or service improvement.
9. Your Choices
You can manage many privacy choices directly from your device:
- Change Android media or notification permissions.
- Clear LocalTune app data.
- Delete playlists or other local app content where supported.
- Reset advertising ID or limit ad personalization in Android settings where available.

Depending on your location, you may also have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or information about data sharing. To make a request, contact us at developer@appinnovatech.com.
10. Children
LocalTune is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us, contact developer@appinnovatech.com, and we will take appropriate steps required by law.
11. Security
We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect information processed through the App. No storage or transmission method is completely secure, so we cannot promise absolute security. You should keep your device secure and use audio files from trusted sources.
12. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy when the App, legal requirements, platform rules, or business needs change. The updated version will show a new effective date. Continued use of LocalTune after an update means you accept the revised policy.
