Hello everyone! I have compiled some online resources to help your child's communication skills when school is closed. Click on the links to find more activities and information for each area.
Speech Sounds: Your child is working on saying different speech sounds. If you have any questions on which sounds to focus on, please send an email to mary.bennett@lclsd.org.
Language Skills: You child is working on their receptive or expressive language skills, such as responding to questions, retelling stories, building their vocabulary skills, grammar skills, and following directions.
Talkers/AAC: Your child is working on using multi-modal communication methods, such as iPad apps, speech generating devices, picture icons, sign language, etc. to communicate.
Social: Your child is working on social language skills, such as perspective-taking, understanding expected and unexpected behaviors, and understanding emotions.
Preschool: Your child is currently enrolled in preschool!
