About Research

Childhood disadvantage remains apparent in a digital age. This research project aims to explore effective standards for European and international laws to meaningfully address childhood disadvantage in the digital age. It answers what children’s digital protection is, what the statutory rights of the child in the digital age established by European and international laws are, as well as whether or not it is necessary to create new legislation at the European Union level to impose extra legal liabilities on stakeholders. It will improve the current understanding of children’s digital rights and make a substantial contribution to children’s digital protection.
