Opportunities

LCD Lab offers many opportunities for graduate and undergraduate students to explore their own research interests, participate in a range of different projects, and develop their abilities as researchers.

Graduate students

Prospective graduate students can apply to LCD Lab through the Department of Psychology at The Chinese University of Hong Kong. Please also contact Dr. Inoue directly with any questions (see Contact page). Preference will be given to prospective students interested in focusing on longitudinal methods and academic achievement including reading, spelling, and mathematics.

Undergraduate students

LCD Lab has openings for responsible, enthusiastic students who want to gain research experience in Educational and Developmental Psychology. Students will have the opportunity to gain valuable research experience and build their communication skills. Duties will include:

- Attending weekly lab meetings

- Data collection

- Data entry

- Preparing mailings (Occasional)

- Calling primary schools/parents (Occasional)
