Auction Rules:
- Registration is from 10am to 1pm. Nothing will be accepted after 1 pm. without prior permission.
- The Public is welcome to buy and sell.
- All items must be aquarium hobby related. No poisonous or illegal plants or animals.
- All items should be properly labeled with the seller ID letters, sellers name, common/scientific name,
number of fish in the bag, sex of fish (if known)
(note a pair is one male and one female and a spawning pair must have spawned with each other).
- A limit of five bags per species or color form per seller please.
- Buyers are Required to Register and 'Run a Tab' as opposed to pay as you go.
- Sales are cash or Credit Card (by Square).
-- The four color sticker system will be used. Stickers will be made available at the time of registration.
- The first color group will be known at registration. Following color groups will be picked at random.
- Late arrival auction items will not be given "color" already up for auction (so don't be late).
- No Minimum bid items will be accepted. ( If you don't like the price you're getting, be ready to buy it back )
- Once entered, items may not be withdrawn from the auction.
- All aquarium equipment should be in good working order or labeled as to its condition. Badly cracked or broken tanks will NOT be accepted. Don't Bring Junk! Seller is solely responsible for mislabeled items.
- Bag fish with ample air and water in proper fish bags (No Baggies or Ziplocs).
- A fee may be charged if LCAS has to re-bag your leakers. Please put 'spiney' fish in bags inside buckets or styros.
- The auction committee reserves the right to reject any fish or equipment that is not fit for sale, i.e. sick, diseased, crossed species, deformed, badly damaged, cracked or deemed not salvageable.
- All auction items become the buyer's responsibility.
- An item that does not get at least $1 bid will be considered a donation and sold in lots at the end of the auction.
- The L.C.A.S. & the Hall will not be held responsible for auction items or personal injury
during the auction or while on the auction site.
- Any items unclaimed at the end of the auction will become the property of LCAS.
- Seller proceeds will be mailed within two weeks of the auction date.
Remember to bring a styro! You never know how the weather will be!
