LEGACY DRIVEN
“Honor the Past. Invest in the Future.”
“Honor the Past. Invest in the Future.”
Our chapter house is more than a building — it's the heart of our brotherhood.
Your support ensures it remains a home for generations of brothers.
The Lambda Chi Alpha Fraternity has been a staple in the Greek community at California State University, Northridge for over 50 years. It was in August of 2011 when the members of Lambda Chi Alpha Beta-Rho Zeta started to call the ChopHouse their new home. Jump to 2025, and the house is still going strong, carrying with it the history and legacy of our great fraternity.
The Lambda Chi Alpha ChopHouse is more than just a building — it’s the heart of our brotherhood.
For many brothers, the ChopHouse is home, providing a place to live near campus rather than commuting long distances each day. It’s also an event space, hosting philanthropic initiatives and fundraising events that strengthen our connection to the campus and community.
Beyond that, it serves as a study hall and quiet retreat — a space where brothers can focus on academics, especially during finals and other demanding times in the semester.
But after years of use and countless memories, the ChopHouse is beginning to show signs of wear.
That’s why we’re calling on our alumni and friends to help preserve its legacy, ensuring that future generations of Lambda Chi Alpha brothers have the same opportunity to live, learn, and grow within these walls.
Every brother who’s walked through the ChopHouse has a story — late nights studying, laughs around the kitchen, moments of leadership and brotherhood that shaped who we are today.
Now it’s our turn to give back to the place that gave us so much.
Your contribution, no matter the size, helps maintain the legacy of Lambda Chi Alpha at Northridge. You’re not just funding repairs; you’re investing in the next generation of brothers who will call the ChopHouse home.
Whether you graduated last year or decades ago, your support keeps our shared tradition alive and strong.
Because once a brother, always a brother — and this is our home.
That’s the beauty of it — every bit helps.
Whether it’s $1 a month, $25 a semester, or $50 whenever you can, every donation adds up to something powerful. The ChopHouse has stood because generations before us each did their part — now it’s our turn to carry that forward.
No gift is too small, and every dollar directly impacts the upkeep, renovation, and future of our home.
Over the years, the ChopHouse has faced damage from cars and vandalism. Having a gate will strengthen security and restore the pride of our home’s entrance.
The backyard has become overgrown with weeds and uneven ground, making it hard to host events or relax outside. Restoring this space will bring back a clean, welcoming area for brotherhood and philanthropy.
