If you want a dark, hands-free way for a kid to settle down or rest, choose LC-dolida Sleep Mask; if you need open-ear headphones for movement and awareness, choose Pmjebe Open Ear Headphones.
These solve different problems: one combines an eye mask with Bluetooth audio, while the other keeps the ears uncovered for listening on the go.
For a child’s bedtime routine, I’d lean toward the LC-dolida design; for outdoor activity or calls, I’d choose Pmjebe.
• LC-dolida Sleep Mask’s biggest strength: a 3D-contoured eye mask with built-in Bluetooth audio and a stated 10–13 hours of playback. Trade-off: it covers the eyes, so it is meant for rest, not staying visually aware during activity.
• Pmjebe Open Ear Headphones’ biggest strength: bone-conduction audio leaves the ear canals open, with a stated Bluetooth range of up to 33 feet. Trade-off: its stated battery life is up to 6 hours, shorter than the mask’s stated playback time.
• Choose LC-dolida for naps, sleep, meditation, travel rest, or a kid’s quiet-time routine when blocking light matters.
• Choose Pmjebe for running, cycling, hiking, work, or calls when you want to hear audio without covering your ears.
• Neither is a direct substitute for the other: the key decision is whether you want a sleep mask with sound or open-ear headphones for everyday movement.
The LC-dolida Sleep Mask combines an eye mask, a soft headband-style Bluetooth audio setup, and wireless listening in one design. Its 3D-contoured shape is intended to leave room for eye movement without pressing directly on the eyes. The nose-fitting design is made to block light, and the mask uses breathable material with airholes. Together, those features point toward a product for resting in a bright room, taking a nap during travel, or listening while winding down.
For a kid, the appeal is the combination of light blocking and audio without separate headphones to manage. The mask could suit a child who already uses quiet music as part of rest time, though its use should depend on the child’s comfort and ability to use a Bluetooth device appropriately. It is also a reasonable fit for adults who want a sleep-focused option for meditation, yoga, or overnight listening. The listed playback time is 10–13 hours, with a charging time of about 1–2 hours.
The trade-off is its narrow purpose. Because it covers the eyes, it is not designed for a walk, a bike ride, or any situation where seeing what is around you matters. It is also not the right choice if your main aim is to keep your ears open while moving. The control pod needs to be removed before washing, so care involves an extra step rather than tossing the complete mask into a wash.
How We Research

Pmjebe Open Ear Headphones: Who It's For
Pmjebe’s headphones use bone-conduction audio and an open-ear design. Rather than sitting in the ear canal, they deliver sound through the cheekbones while leaving the ears uncovered. That design is intended for people who want to listen while remaining aware of surrounding sounds. The product is described for activities including running, cycling, hiking, and working, and it also supports phone calls with a built-in noise-canceling microphone.
The listed Bluetooth version is 5.3, and the stated connection range reaches up to 33 feet. Pmjebe also lists IPX5 sweat and water resistance, which makes the headphones a more relevant option for exercise or rainy outdoor use than a fabric sleep mask. Battery life is stated as up to 6 hours of music or talk time. The built-in 8G MP3 player is another point of distinction: it gives the product a stored-audio option in addition to Bluetooth listening.
The trade-off is that this is not a sleep mask and does not block light. Its open-ear design may be useful for awareness, but it does not create the enclosed listening environment of a sleep-focused mask. Someone looking for the best over ear headphones for audiophiles should also note that Pmjebe is neither an over-ear design nor a conventional enclosed listening setup; its purpose is open-ear convenience, not an over-ear form factor. For a child’s bedtime routine, it misses the light-blocking feature that makes LC-dolida the more relevant fit.
• Best for a kid’s bedtime or quiet-time routine → LC-dolida Sleep Mask. It combines an eye mask with Bluetooth audio, so it addresses light and listening in one product.
• Best for blocking light during a nap → LC-dolida Sleep Mask. Its 3D eye area and nose-fitting shape are designed for a dark rest environment.
• Best for awareness while exercising outdoors → Pmjebe Open Ear Headphones. The open-ear design leaves the ear canals uncovered, and the product is described for running, cycling, and hiking.
• Best for longer stated playback between charges → LC-dolida Sleep Mask. Its stated 10–13 hours exceeds Pmjebe’s stated up-to-6-hour music or talk time.
• Best for sweat or rain exposure → Pmjebe Open Ear Headphones. Its IPX5 rating is a feature the mask’s supplied details do not list.
• Best for calls while moving → Pmjebe Open Ear Headphones. It includes a built-in noise-canceling microphone and supports Bluetooth calls.
• Best for stored music without relying only on Bluetooth → Pmjebe Open Ear Headphones. It includes a built-in 8G MP3 player.
• Best for a restful, enclosed listening environment → LC-dolida Sleep Mask. Its eye-covering design is built around sleep and relaxation rather than situational awareness.
The phrase “best head phones for focus” can point in either direction, depending on what focus means. For a darkened wind-down or meditation session, the LC-dolida mask is the more relevant design. For work where you need to keep your ears uncovered and remain aware of people or activity nearby, Pmjebe is the more practical match. Neither is a universal focus solution; the use case matters.
My Verdict
I’d choose the LC-dolida Sleep Mask for the primary use case here: a kid who needs a light-blocking option for rest, with audio built into the mask. Its 3D contour, breathable material, and stated 10–13-hour playback align more closely with that job than open-ear sport headphones do. For running, cycling, calls, or outdoor awareness, I’d switch to Pmjebe—but for a kid’s bedtime routine, my pick is LC-dolida.
FAQ
For a child’s rest routine, LC-dolida is the closer fit because it combines an eye mask with Bluetooth audio and is designed to block light. Pmjebe is aimed at open-ear listening during activity, not bedtime light blocking.
The LC-dolida mask is designed to create a dark environment and describes a well-closed listening environment, but the supplied details do not state a noise-reduction rating. Pmjebe has an open-ear design and lists no noise-control feature, so it is intended to leave the ears uncovered.
LC-dolida lists 10–13 hours of playback after about 1–2 hours of charging. Pmjebe lists up to 6 hours of music or talk time; those stated figures make the mask the longer-playback option.
That depends on which features you will use: LC-dolida combines light blocking and sleep audio, while Pmjebe adds open-ear listening, an 8G MP3 player, a microphone, and IPX5 resistance. Check the current price on Amazon before deciding, then compare it with the features that matter most to you.
