If you want superior battery endurance, a washable fabric design for intense workouts, and the flexibility of an on-ear headphone that doubles as a sleep mask, choose LC-dolida Sleep Headphones Headband; if you need deep light blocking with premium mulberry silk, 3D eye sockets to protect your lashes, and a dedicated sleep experience focused entirely on darkness and comfort, choose ZHENYEMEI Sleep Headphones.
• LC-dolida: Delivers up to 15 hours of playtime with a durable, sweat-wicking fabric headband and Bluetooth 5.4 connectivity, but lacks the total light blockage of a full eye mask.
• ZHENYEMEI: Offers a luxurious 99% pure mulberry silk construction with 3D eye pockets for zero pressure on eyelids and 16+ hours of battery, yet it is not designed for active sports or side sleeping in the same way.
• Who is this for? The LC-dolida pick fits the active commuter or gym-goer who needs hands-free calls and music while moving; the ZHENYEMEI pick is ideal for the serious insomniac or traveler who prioritizes total darkness and facial comfort over athletic utility.
The LC-dolida model stands out because it solves the problem of wearing headphones while sweating or moving. Its design is fundamentally different from a traditional sleep mask; it is a headband with integrated speakers that sits on the ears rather than covering the eyes completely. This makes it an exceptional choice for someone who needs to stay connected or entertained during physical activities like jogging, yoga, or a heavy workout session. The fabric material is specifically engineered to be quick-drying and breathable, which means you can wear it during summer runs without that sticky, uncomfortable feeling against your skin.
For the person who struggles to sleep on their side but cannot tolerate bulky earbuds, this product offers a unique middle ground. Because the speakers are only 0.25 inches thin and placed directly on the ear, they provide high-fidelity stereo sound without pressing hard into the ear canal. The band itself is highly elastic, ensuring a secure fit for various head shapes without cutting off circulation. If you are someone who wants to listen to podcasts or audiobooks while lying down but also wants the option to take them off and use them as a standard wireless headset for a walk around the neighborhood, this is the versatile tool you need.
However, you should skip this option if your primary struggle is light sensitivity. While the headband provides some coverage, it does not function as a complete blackout device. There will be gaps where light can enter, which might disturb light sleepers. Additionally, if you require a device that feels soft against your entire face, the fabric band might feel less plush than a silk alternative. It is best suited for those who view their audio device as a multi-purpose gadget—something that works equally well for a morning run, a meditation session, and a night of listening to white noise before drifting off.

The ZHENYEMEI headphones are built for one specific purpose: creating a sanctuary of darkness and silence. By using 99% pure mulberry silk, this product elevates the tactile experience of sleeping with audio. Silk is naturally temperature-regulating and incredibly soft, making it the ideal material for anyone with sensitive skin or those who wake up with marks on their face from other fabrics. The standout feature here is the 3D eye socket design, which creates a 2.5 to 3-centimeter gap between the mask and your eyes. This ensures that your eyelashes remain untouched and you never feel the sensation of fabric pressing against your eyeballs, a common complaint with flat sleep masks.
This device is the definitive choice for the frequent traveler or the shift worker who needs to nap in a bright environment. The "deepening" design combined with the opaque silk effectively blocks out light, allowing you to fall asleep regardless of whether it is noon or midnight. The 340mAh battery supports over 14 hours of continuous playtime, which is more than enough for long-haul flights or an entire night's rest plus a midday nap. The auto-off timer is another practical feature for those who often drift off without remembering to press stop, preventing the device from draining the battery overnight.
You would likely want to avoid this model if you plan to use it for anything other than sleeping or quiet relaxation. The structure is designed to sit over the eyes, which makes it impractical for running, cycling, or any activity where you need to see your surroundings clearly. The silk material, while luxurious, requires careful handling compared to the rugged, washable fabric of the LC-dolida. If you are looking for bluetooth clip on earbuds for library use where you might need to move around quickly or adjust your position frequently, the fixed nature of this mask might feel restrictive. It is strictly for the user who values the quality of their sleep environment above all else.
• Best for Battery Life → ZHENYEMEI Sleep Headphones (Offers 14+ hours with a robust 340mAh cell, slightly edging out the competition for marathon listening sessions).
• Best for Active Use → LC-dolida Sleep Headphones Headband (The sweat-wicking fabric and open-ear design make it the clear winner for workouts, jogging, or yoga).
• Best Light Blocking → ZHENYEMEI Sleep Headphones (The 99% pure mulberry silk and 3D nose design create a true blackout environment).
• Best for Side Sleepers → LC-dolida Sleep Headphones Headband (The thin profile allows you to lie on your side without crushing the speaker unit into your cheek).

• Best Connectivity Range → ZHENYEMEI Sleep Headphones (Pairs seamlessly within a 45-foot range, offering greater freedom of movement away from your phone).
• Best Value for Versatility → LC-dolida Sleep Headphones Headband (Functions as a sleep aid, a workout headband, and a general wireless headset in one package).
• Best for Eye Comfort → ZHENYEMEI Sleep Headphones (The 3D eye sockets ensure no pressure on eyelashes or eyelids, a critical factor for delicate eye health).
In my opinion, I would choose the ZHENYEMEI Sleep Headphones for my personal nightly routine. The combination of pure mulberry silk and the 3D eye pocket design addresses the most critical aspects of sleep hygiene: darkness and comfort. When you are trying to get a good night's rest, especially in a hotel room or a shared living space, the ability to block out every bit of light while feeling nothing but softness against your face is worth the trade-off in versatility. The longer battery life and the auto-off timer also remove the anxiety of forgetting to turn the device off. However, if your priority is being able to wear audio gear while working out or commuting to the gym, then the LC-dolida remains the better tool for that specific lifestyle. For the specific use case of finding peace in a busy world, particularly for library study sessions or quiet reading before bed, the ZHENYEMEI's focus on total sensory isolation makes it the superior companion for deep focus and rest.
Yes, both models offer touch controls and Bluetooth connectivity suitable for libraries. The LC-dolida works well as on-ear headphones for library study, while the ZHENYEMei functions as a discreet touch control open ear earbuds for library environments where you need to block out ambient noise with music.
With the ZHENYEMEI, the 3D eye socket design ensures the speakers do not press against your eyes or eyelashes, whereas the LC-dolida uses thin speakers placed on the ears, leaving your eyes completely unobstructed.
The ZHENYEMEI features a larger 340mAh battery providing 14+ hours of playtime, while the LC-dolida offers approximately 15 hours of playback after a 2-hour charge, making both excellent for overnight use.
Only the LC-dolida is explicitly designed to be disassembled and washed due to its sweat-wicking fabric construction; the ZHENYEMEI's silk material requires gentle care and should not be submerged in water.
