If you want a dedicated sleep solution that blocks light and plays soothing white noise without bulk, choose LC-dolida Sleep Headphones; if you need a plush, character-driven gift with over-ear comfort for daytime listening, choose iJoy Squishmallows.
• LC-dolida Sleep Headphones: Strengths include a 3D contoured design for side sleeping, full light blocking, and over 10 hours of battery life on a single charge. The trade-off is that it requires removing the module to wash the fabric, making it less convenient for frequent cleaning than standard plush items. This pick is best for adults or older children who struggle with insomnia or light sensitivity.
• iJoy Squishmallows: Strengths feature an officially licensed plush design, hybrid noise cancellation, and a generous 15-hour battery life for extended play. The trade-off is its over-ear form factor, which may be too bulky or hot for side sleepers who prefer to rest their head directly against a pillow. This pick is ideal for fans of the brand looking for a fun, durable accessory for school, travel, or gaming.
The LC-dolida Sleep Headphones are engineered for one specific purpose: helping you fall asleep and stay asleep. If you are someone who tosses and turns because of bright lights in your bedroom or a noisy environment, this mask tackles both issues simultaneously. The 3D contoured design creates a deeper space around the eyes, meaning your eyelids can move freely without pressing against the fabric. This is a game-changer for side sleepers who often find traditional flat masks uncomfortable or prone to slipping off during the night. The full coverage ensures no light leaks in from the sides, creating a cave-like darkness that signals your brain it is time to rest.
Battery performance is another area where this product stands out for nightly use. With a built-in 240mAh battery, it offers more than 10 hours of continuous playback. This is sufficient to cover an entire night's sleep cycle without needing a mid-day recharge. You also have the option to set a timer between 30 and 120 minutes, so the audio fades out once you drift off, preventing any disturbance while you enter deep REM sleep. The Bluetooth 5.2 connection ensures a stable link to your phone or tablet, delivering true HD sound quality through the built-in speakers. Whether you are listening to nature sounds, white noise, or a meditation track, the audio remains clear and immersive without the clunky feel of traditional headphones.
However, this product is not for everyone. If you are looking for a headphone setup to wear while commuting, working out, or hanging out in a busy living room, this is not the right tool. Its form factor is strictly a sleep mask. Additionally, while the memory foam and fabric are high-quality, they require care. To wash the unit, you must remove the Bluetooth module and wires first. If you need something you can throw in the washing machine like a regular stuffed animal or a simple cloth mask, this extra step might be a hurdle. It is also designed primarily for unisex use, but the sizing and contouring cater well to those with larger heads or ears who need a snug fit without pressure points.

The iJoy Squishmallows Bluetooth Over-Ear Headphones bring the beloved world of plush toys into the realm of audio technology. These are officially licensed products that combine the soft, cuddly aesthetic of Squishmallows with functional wireless headphones. They are perfect for anyone who loves the collectible plush characters and wants to carry that vibe with them throughout the day. The over-ear design features plush padded ear cups that enclose the ears completely, providing a cozy feeling that mimics holding a favorite toy. This makes them exceptionally comfortable for long listening sessions, whether you are watching movies, playing video games, or just relaxing at home.
Durability and connectivity are key selling points here. The headphones boast a Bluetooth range of up to 33 feet, giving you plenty of freedom to move around your house without losing your connection. They support Bluetooth version 4 and include a built-in microphone for hands-free calls, ensuring you stay connected even while wearing them. The audio output is driven by dynamic drivers that promise deep bass and crisp treble, delivering a rich sound profile that rivals many standard consumer headphones. Furthermore, the inclusion of hybrid noise cancellation helps block out ambient distractions, allowing you to focus on your music or content. With a battery life averaging 15 hours, these headphones can easily last through a full day of school, work, or travel before needing a recharge.
Despite their charm, there are limitations to consider based on their design. Because they are over-ear headphones with plush padding, they are not suitable for sleeping on your side. The bulky ear cups would press uncomfortably against a pillow and could cause heat buildup. They are also foldable, which is great for portability, but the plush material adds weight compared to hard-shell alternatives. While they are marketed as a gift for girls, boys, women, and men, the aesthetic is heavily tied to the Squishmallows brand identity. If you prefer a sleek, minimalist look, these vibrant, character-themed headphones might feel too playful for your personal style. They are best suited for casual listeners who prioritize comfort and fandom over technical specifications or discreet design.

I would buy the iJoy Squishmallows for my kid. The combination of official branding, plush comfort, and a longer battery life makes it a superior choice for daily entertainment and travel. While the LC-dolida is a clever device for sleep, the iJoy headphones offer more versatility for a child's active lifestyle, serving as both a fun toy and a reliable audio companion.
The iJoy Squishmallows feature over-ear plush pads that are designed to enclose the ears comfortably, making them suitable for users with larger ears. The LC-dolida uses a 3D contour to prevent pressure on the eye area, but it does not specifically accommodate large ears in the same way over-ear cups do.
The iJoy Squishmallows headphones do not list this requirement, suggesting a more straightforward cleaning process for the exterior plush.
The LC-dolida Sleep Headphones provide more than 10 hours of playback time after a 2-hour charge. The iJoy Squishmallows offer a longer average battery life of 15 hours, making them better for all-day use without recharging.
Yes, the LC-dolida includes a built-in adjustable high-quality speaker and microphone for hands-free calls. The iJoy Squishmallows also feature a built-in mic for clear communication while on the go.
