If you want a versatile, washable headband with a built-in microphone for active use and clear calls, choose LC-dolida Sleep Headphones; if you need a discreet, under-pillow bone conduction speaker for deep sleep without any ear contact, choose Morseatooke Bone Conduction Under.
• LC-dolida Sleep Headphones: Offers a 3-in-1 design that functions as a sleeping mask, sports headband, and wireless headphones with Bluetooth 5.4 and a hands-free microphone; the trade-off is that it sits on your ears rather than being completely hidden, which some side sleepers might find bulky.
• Morseatooke Bone Conduction Under: Features a slim, under-pillow profile with bone conduction technology and a built-in white noise machine that leaves your ears completely open; the trade-off is the lack of a microphone and its mono audio output, making it less ideal for calls or immersive stereo music.
• Best For: The LC-dolida is perfect for those who need to stay connected via calls while working out or traveling, while the Morseatooke is the superior choice for anyone seeking total silence around their ears to aid in falling asleep.
The LC-dolida Sleep Headphones are engineered for the person who refuses to compromise between comfort and connectivity. This device is not just a passive listening tool; it is a multi-functional accessory designed to adapt to your life. The core of its appeal lies in its "3 in 1" construction. You get the functionality of a Bluetooth headband for workouts, a sleep mask that effectively blocks out light, and wireless headphones that deliver HiFi stereo sound. This versatility makes it an excellent companion for side sleepers who still want to listen to podcasts or audiobooks but need something that doesn't dig into their temples like traditional over-ear cans.
The inclusion of a built-in microphone is a game-changer for this category. Many sleep-specific audio devices sacrifice communication capabilities for comfort, but the LC-dolida allows you to answer calls hands-free. Whether you are taking a work call during a quiet yoga session, jogging through a park, or simply relaxing in a hotel room, you can manage your audio without fumbling for a phone. The Bluetooth 5.4 technology ensures a stable connection, which is crucial when you are moving around. The thin speakers, measuring only 0.25 inches, are designed to produce high-fidelity stereo sound without creating pressure inside the ear canal.
However, this product is not for everyone. If you are a heavy side sleeper who finds any pressure on the side of your head unbearable, the bulk of the headband and the fabric strap might be too much to ignore. While the material is described as breathable ice silk fabric with a sweat-wicking design, the physical presence of the electronics across your forehead means it will take some getting used to if you are accustomed to sleeping with nothing on your head. Additionally, while the battery lasts up to 15 hours, the charging time is about two hours, so you cannot rely on a quick top-up before a late-night flight unless you plan ahead. This device is best suited for adults, teens, and seniors who value the ability to switch from a meditation session to a workout or a travel nap without changing gear.

The Morseatooke Bone Conduction Under Pillow Speaker targets a very specific group of people: those who prioritize uninterrupted sleep above all else and have zero tolerance for anything touching their ears. Unlike the LC-dolida, this device is designed to be invisible in operation. It slips discreetly under your pillow, utilizing bone conduction technology to transmit sound directly through vibrations to your inner ear. This means there are no drivers pressing against your earlobes, no earbuds blocking your ear canal, and no headbands restricting your movement. For couples sharing a bed, this is a standout feature because the sound leakage is minimal; your partner remains undisturbed while you enjoy your own audio environment.
What truly sets this product apart is the integration of a built-in white noise machine. This eliminates the need to stream audio constantly from a phone, reducing screen time and battery drain on your mobile device. You can set the device to play these soothing sounds independently or connect it via Bluetooth for music and podcasts. The auto-off timer adds another layer of convenience, ensuring the device does not run all night if you fall asleep quickly, which preserves the battery life. The maximum range of 33 feet gives you ample freedom to move around your bedroom or even step out to the bathroom without losing connection.
There are significant limitations to consider, however. The audio output is mono, not stereo, and the maximum output power is just 1 watt. If you are looking for rich, immersive bass or high-volume listening for music production, this device will feel lacking. Furthermore, there is no microphone listed in the specifications. You cannot make or receive calls with the Morseatooke. It is purely a passive listener's device. If your primary goal is to listen to audiobooks while you drift off or to drown out street noise with white noise, it excels. But if you need to communicate while using the device, this is not the right tool. It is also worth noting that the enclosure is made of smooth ABS plastic, fabric, and silicone, which is skin-friendly but means the unit is not waterproof. You cannot wash it, so hygiene relies on keeping the pillow area clean. This product is ideal for insomniacs, light sleepers, and frequent travelers who need a portable, silent solution to block out hotel noise without wearing anything on their head.
• Best for active users and side sleepers who need a microphone → LC-dolida Sleep Headphones. The built-in mic and secure fit make it the only viable option for calls and sports.
• Best for pure sleep quality and ear isolation → Morseatooke Bone Conduction Under. The under-pillow design removes all physical barriers to comfort for side sleepers.
• Best for audio fidelity and stereo immersion → LC-dolida Sleep Headphones. With dynamic drivers and a frequency range up to 20,000Hz, it offers true stereo separation compared to the mono output of the Morseatooke.
• Best for independent white noise usage → Morseatooke Bone Conduction Under. Its dedicated internal white noise machine allows for sleep sounds without needing a smartphone connected.
• Best for durability and washability → LC-dolida Sleep Headphones. The fabric components are disassemblable and washable, whereas the Morseatooke's plastic and silicone body must be wiped down only.
• Best for battery longevity per charge cycle → LC-dolida Sleep Headphones. It offers 15 hours of continuous playback, whereas the Morseatooke focuses on overnight duration with an auto-off timer.
• Best for low latency gaming or synchronized media → LC-dolida Sleep Headphones. While both offer Bluetooth, the LC-dolida's dynamic driver setup is generally more suitable for varied media consumption than the specialized bone conduction driver.
• Best for travel and portability → Morseatooke Bone Conduction Under. Its ultra-flat, lightweight build (3.2 ounces) fits easily into luggage without the bulk of a headband.
After weighing the specs and intended use cases, I would buy the LC-dolida Sleep Headphones if my primary goal was to have a single device that could handle sleep, workouts, and communication. The inclusion of a microphone and the washable design make it far more practical for daily life. However, if I were specifically buying a gift for someone with insomnia or a partner who needs absolute silence around their ears, I would choose the Morseatooke Bone Conduction Under for its unique ability to deliver sound without physical intrusion. For myself, specifically regarding the need for a device for kids with microphone capability during their study or relaxation time, the LC-dolida is the safer bet due to the hands-free calling feature. Ultimately, the decision rests on whether you need to talk (LC-dolida) or just listen (Morseatooke).
Yes, the LC-dolida is designed for side sleepers with a soft, flat profile, though the headband may create slight pressure. The Morseatooke is explicitly designed to slip under the pillow, offering zero pressure on the ears for side sleepers.
Only the LC-dolida Sleep Headphones include a built-in microphone for hands-free calls. The Morseatooke Bone Conduction Under is for listening only and has no microphone.
The LC-dolida offers 15 hours of continuous playing time after a 2-hour charge. The Morseatooke supports all-night play with an adjustable auto-off timer, making it ideal for overnight use but less focused on extended daytime sessions.
The LC-dolida features a washable design where parts can be disassembled to keep them clean after sweaty workouts. The Morseatooke is not waterproof and should only be wiped with a dry cloth.
