John Thurgood is a technology leader with over 25 years of experience in business development and solution delivery, particularly focused on emerging technologies such as Augmented Reality (AR), eXtended Reality (XR), AI, and mobile communications. His career spans both technical and commercial roles in heavy industries (Oil, Gas, Energy), telecommunications, and enterprise solution sectors.

He is currently the Founder & CEO of LBSIC, a consultancy specialising in AR solutions and mobile application platforms. Previously, he held key leadership roles at Shell, where he led the deployment of wearable AR devices, machine vision, and AI-powered solutions for engineers and field staff—earning internal awards for impact.

He is recognised for his ability to translate technical innovations into real-world, scalable deployments, especially where safety, productivity, and digital transformation intersect.

Mark Thurgood

Mark Thurgood is a seasoned professional with over two decades of experience in business analysis, systems integration, and adult education. Combining technical expertise with strategic insight, he has led transformative projects in web systems design, GPS tracking, mobile broadband solutions, and XR technology.

As a Business Analyst, Mark excels in system design, software testing, and creating user-focused processes and training materials. His tenure at RealWear, Inc. highlighted his ability to deploy innovative XR solutions for global clients, reinforcing his commitment to technological advancement.

Mark’s career includes leadership roles in product design and integration, where he built impactful partnerships. His foundational experience in adult education further honed his skills in communication, organization, and motivation, making him a dynamic leader dedicated to driving success in the digital age.
