  • Reminder title and optional description

  • Category (e.g., Groceries, Pharmacy, Shopping)

  • Associated location name, latitude, longitude, and trigger radius

  • Completion status, creation/completion timestamps, and priority level

• Device and Usage Information: We may collect basic information about your device and how you interact with the App, such as the App version and client information (e.g., location-reminder-app@${ENV.app.version}). This helps us understand usage patterns and improve the App.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To Provide App Functionality:

  • To create, manage, and display your location-based reminders.

  • To send you proximity-based notifications when you are near relevant locations for your reminders.

• With Google Places API: When you search for or select locations within the App, we may send location data (e.g., your current location or search queries) to the Google Places API to retrieve relevant place information. Google's privacy policy applies to their handling of this data.

• With Supabase: Your reminder data, user settings, and location history are stored in our Supabase cloud database. Supabase acts as our data processor and is bound by its own privacy and security policies.

• No Sale of Personal Data: We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes.

• Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court order or government agency).

4. Data Storage and Security

• Data Persistence: Your primary App data, including reminders, user settings, and location history, is stored in a Supabase cloud database. This allows for robust data persistence and, if applicable, synchronization across devices (depending on future App features).

• Local Storage (SQLite): The App also utilizes an Expo SQLite database for local data persistence. This local database may store operational data, cached information, or provide offline capabilities.

• Security Measures: We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. This includes using secure storage for authentication tokens (via Expo SecureStore) and relying on the security features provided by Supabase.

You have control over your information:

• Location Permissions: You can enable or disable location services for our App through your device's settings at any time. Disabling location services will significantly limit the App's core functionality (location-based reminders and notifications).

• Notification Permissions: You can manage notification preferences through your device's settings.

• Managing Reminders: You can create, edit, delete, and mark reminders as complete directly within the App.

• Data Access and Deletion: If you wish to access, correct, or request the deletion of your personal data stored in our Supabase database, please contact us using the details below. We will respond to your request in accordance with applicable laws.
