The History of LBC LIVING HOPE INC.

The journey of LBC LIVING HOPE INC. began not with a grand plan, but with a divine prompting in the heart of a simple bank employee. Sometime around 1976, a man named Ptr. Teodoro "Teddy" Policios was visiting a client in Mahayag, San Miguel, Bohol. Compelled by the Holy Spirit, Ptr. Teddy began sharing the Gospel with the people he met during his visit. 

From Humble Beginnings to Formal Organization

By the grace of God, the seeds Ptr. Teddy sowed took root. After a couple of fellowship gatherings, a regular Bible Study was established in a household. This soon led to the first house fellowship with just a few pioneering members.

This small, faithful gathering grew and was formally organized on May 20, 1984. The church was officially named Light Baptist Church (LBC), a date which the congregation continues to celebrate as its Anniversary every year.

A Succession of Shepherds

Throughout the years, the church has been blessed with dedicated ministers who served as resident pastors. These faithful shepherds are:

4. Ptr. Renerio "Ninin" Rosales

The Birth of LBC LIVING HOPE INC.

In a move to gain judicial identity and government recognition, the congregation decided to register the church with the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). This vision was realized on May 22, 2023, when the church was formally registered as LBC LIVING HOPE INC. (SEC Reg. No.: 2023050100202-10).

The church's establishing Board of Trustees (BOT) is composed of the following individuals, serving as the foundational governing body:

Today, LBC LIVING HOPE INC. continues to uphold its mandate as one body in Christ, dedicated to ministerial and missionary works. The church carries out its mission through several dedicated ministry arms and leaders:

The history of LBC LIVING HOPE INC. is a testament to God's faithfulness, starting from a single conversation in Mahayag to its current status as a recognized body dedicated to spreading the Gospel across Bohol.
