The Youth Red Cross (YRC) is the student wing of the Indian Red Cross Society, dedicated to promoting humanitarian values, health awareness, and voluntary service. At our institution, the YRC Unit offers a dynamic platform for students to actively engage in community service, disaster relief efforts, and health promotion, cultivating in them a deep sense of social responsibility, empathy, and leadership. The unit works under the guidance of trained faculty and operates in alignment with the core principles of the International Red Cross Movement.
To instill in youth the values of voluntary service, compassion, and civic duty.
To promote health, hygiene, and safety awareness among students and the community.
To train students in first aid, disaster response, and life-saving skills.
To involve students in community-based social welfare programs.
To encourage peace, tolerance, and humanitarian understanding across diverse groups.

The Youth Red Cross Unit at our college plays a vital role in nurturing responsible citizens who are sensitive to the needs of society. Through hands-on involvement in humanitarian efforts, students develop essential life skills such as leadership, teamwork, empathy, and resilience. The YRC is more than a club—it's a movement that inspires youth to make meaningful contributions to society.
