Children's Ministry

Here at Little Bethany Missionary Baptist Church children have fun learning about Jesus. We have various activities that are geared towards their age groups. The Sunday School teachers teach them the Sunday school lessons in ways for them to understand. For children ages 2 to 7 years old, they do biblical themed projects such as painting, puppet shows and music by using instruments and singing about The Lord. We discuss the characteristics and display Godly behaviors. They also have sharing time and show and tell. By sharing what they have on their mind and talking about their feelings, we are better at having an understanding how to address their natural and spiritual needs.

For children ages 8 to 12 years old the activities are of course different. We help them learn and memorize the books of the bible and play games around that so they can familiarize themselves and teach them where the Old and New Testament is, so they can feel comfortable while searching in the bible. We also encourage students to be independent on finding their own scripture that helps them and break down what it means. By doing so, it gives the students a better understanding and the knowledge they need for themselves.
