This Privacy Policy describes how LazyEats AI ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and shares information about you when you use our mobile application (the "App"). By using LazyEats AI, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

a) Location Information
• We request access to your device location to detect your country. This is used solely to suggest locally relevant meals.
• We do not store or share your precise location data with any third party.
• Location access is optional. If denied, the App defaults to a general region.
b) Usage Data
• We track the number of meal suggestions you request per day to enforce the free tier limit.
• This data is stored locally on your device using SharedPreferences and is never transmitted to our servers.
c) Device Information
• We may collect basic device information such as operating system version and device type for analytics and crash reporting purposes.
We use the information we collect to:
• Provide meal suggestions relevant to your location and preferences
• Enforce the free daily usage limit of 5 suggestions
• Improve the performance and reliability of the App
• Display relevant advertisements to free users via Google AdMob
• Process subscription payments via Google Play Billing
LazyEats AI uses the following third-party services that may collect information:
a) OpenAI API
• Your meal preferences (meal type, budget, ingredients, tired mode) are sent to OpenAI to generate meal suggestions.
• No personally identifiable information is included in these requests.

b) Google AdMob
• Free users may be shown advertisements served by Google AdMob.
• AdMob may collect device identifiers and usage data to serve personalized ads.

• Pro subscribers are not shown any advertisements.
c) Google Play Billing
• Subscription payments are processed by Google Play. We do not store your payment information.
• Google's terms of service apply to all transactions.
d) Google Play Services (Location)
• We use Google's FusedLocationProviderClient to detect your country.
• Location data is used in-app only and not stored on our servers.
• All user preferences and usage counts are stored locally on your device.
• We do not operate any servers that store your personal data.
• We use industry-standard security practices to protect your information.
• We cannot guarantee absolute security of data transmitted over the internet.
LazyEats AI is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete such information.
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights:
• The right to access information we hold about you
• The right to request deletion of your data
• The right to opt out of personalized advertising (via your device settings)
• The right to withdraw location permission at any time via your device settings

• Free users will see interstitial ads after meal suggestions.
• You can opt out of personalized ads by going to your device Settings > Google > Ads > Opt out of Ads Personalization.
• Upgrading to LazyEats Pro removes all advertisements permanently.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by updating the "Last Updated" date at the top of this policy. Your continued use of the App after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Privacy Policy.
