8.Data Retention (Local Storage Only)

What We Store and For How Long
Because the data is stored locally, we retain it only for as long as you keep the App (or its data) on your device, including:
- Workout and activity data (e.g., training plans, workout logs, exercise history, sets/reps/weights, durations, calories estimates): kept until you delete it in the App or remove the App/data from your device.
- Body/fitness records (e.g., weight, body measurements, goals, progress photos if you choose to add them): kept until you delete them in the App or remove the App/data from your device.
- App preferences (e.g., language, units, reminders, feature settings): kept until changed by you or removed with the App/data.
- Cached data (e.g., temporary files used to improve performance): kept until automatically cleared by the App, cleared by you, or removed with the App/data.
Clearing Data / Uninstalling
You can remove your data at any time by:
- using the in-app options to delete specific records (where available);
- clearing the App cache or storage in your device settings; or
- uninstalling the App.
Clearing cache/app storage or uninstalling the App will remove the locally stored data from your device. Since we do not store this data on our servers, we cannot restore your data after deletion or uninstallation.
Backups (Device/Platform)
Depending on your device settings, your locally stored data may be included in your device’s system backups. These backups are controlled by you and your platform provider. If you want the data removed from backups, please manage or delete backups through your device/account settings.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards designed to protect locally stored data, including encryption on the device. However, no method of storage is completely secure, and security may also depend on your device settings (e.g., passcode, biometric lock).
