Before the Lazarus Corporation was called what it is today, it was called the "Lazarus Group" until the 70's. After Jonathan Russ's contributions for the U.S Biological Warfare program, the Lazarus Group was given heavy backing from the U.S Government, and the Lazarus Corporation was formed in order to sustain larger, global operations.
The Lazarus Corporation was founded with the vision of "unhindered progress" – research and development free from legal limitations and bureaucratic constraints. With this vision, Lazarus has become what it is today: the pinnacle of scientific research, medical advancements, and private military expansion.

Lazarus began its independent journey focused primarily on pharmaceutical research and development, building upon the groundwork laid during the Lazarus Group era. Today, Lazarus operates on a global scale, with our most prominent current engagement being comprehensive military and humanitarian support operations on the conflict-torn island of Ronograd. Lazarus is a Roleplay Focused faction. We primarily deploy on SCP:RP, but we host numerous other gamenights on other MilSim / PvP games, which are also considered canon to our lore.
Most Lazarus faction events are spontaenous, and no matter what, is considered canon.
This is why the Lazarus Corporation canonically spent $2.5B in SoF operations in the Middle East, yielding in an 80% casualty rate.
