Searching for the font that Lawson, Inc. (the Japanese convenience store) used for their logo (the Latin alphabet one). I've tried to identify the font using services like What the font! and What Font Is, there's some fonts that are similar to it, but no luck on finding the exact font they used. So anyone has any idea as to what font they are using?

It could be Winner Wide Medium or Winner Wide Bold with a couple of really terrible type changes to kerning and the rounded slab serif style (thick, block-like serifs). It also looks like they transformed the original typeface to a geometric font design.

The size of the font used for your message in an ecard is calculated automatically according to a number of criteria, including the screen size and resolution and the browser zoom level. These criteria are all dependent on the device being used to view the card.

If you are reading this FAQ because you want to send a card to someone and you find the message text too small, for example, please be reassured that this is very unlikely to be a problem on the recipient's device, since the font size calculation on their device will be different.

If you simply wish to correct the font size as you see it, and if the problem you are seeing applies to all our cards, then the best way is normally to adjust the zoom level in your browser. There are a lot of possible browsers so we can't give instructions for this, but if you search online you will almost certainly find out how to do it for your browser and device.

If the problem is only with one or two specific cards, then there may be a bug in the calculation of the font size in that card, so please contact us using the third option below, letting us know the card name as well as the details of your device and browser.

Some browser zoom levels can have unexpected effects on some of our older cards, making the font size smaller. Paradoxically, decreasing your browser\u2019s zoom level can increase the font size. This is local to your computer and so shouldn\u2019t normally affect the recipient of your card unless they too use a large zoom ratio.

I could go on. I really could. I could talk about the sad state of browser support for color fonts, or how to avoid mismatched emoji fonts in Firefox, or subtle issues with measuring emoji width on Windows, or how you need to install a separate package for emoji to work at all in Chrome on Linux.

An Electronic Doc license is based on the number of publications in which the font is used. Each issue counts as a separate publication. Regional or format variations don't count as separate publications.

We'll supply a kit containing webfonts that can be used within digital ads, such as banner ads. This kit may be shared with third parties who are working on your behalf to produce the ad creatives, however you are wholly responsible for it.

Webfonts can be used on a single domain. Agencies responsible for multiple websites, for example web design agencies or hosting providers, may not share a single webfont license across multiple websites.

Every time the webpage using the webfont kit is loaded (i.e, the webfont kit CSS which holds the @font-face rule is called) the counting system counts a single pageview for each webfont within the webfont kit.

Why are personal messages no longer embedded when sending a card?Your personal messages used to be embedded in cards sent as well as choice of color, style and font size didn't they? The text box is tacky and font size barely large enough to read!

Unfortunately, Jacquie Lawson does not provide any information about why personal messages are no longer embedded when sending a card on the company website. Please contact the Jacquie Lawson customer care team for assistance.

As a general rule, you should use two different typefaces to keep things interesting yet unified. These typefaces should be fairly different to show contrast. Use the decorative/fun font for titles and headlines, and the more legible plain font for the body/large areas of text.

Using contrasting typefaces makes it clear which text are headings and subheads and which are body copy. The differences help create distinct roles for each font, allowing them to stand out as individual pieces of information. Remember to use the decorative/fun font for titles and headlines, and the more legible plain font for the body/large areas of text.

To pair fonts that come from the same family, plan carefully to create contrast, varying things like font size, weight (such as light, regular, and bold), and case (upper, lower, small caps). One of the benefits of limiting your fonts for a presentation to one font family is that it creates a more consistent look. This is another way to keep your design interesting while limiting yourself to two typefaces.

In 1974, Consolidated Foods, which bought Lawson in 1959, signed an agreement to allow Daiei, Inc. to establish the Lawson () convenient store franchise in Japan, which still operates today. Lawson Antique was created out of an interest in Post-World War II economic expansion, also known as the Golden Age of Capitalism, and its transformation of the environment. Lawson Antique has 96 glyphs with basic Latin characters, lining figures, punctuation, and symbols. Increasing the nitrate (NO3-" role="presentation" style="box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; display: inline-block; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; line-height: normal; font-size: 16.2px; text-indent: 0px; text-align: left; text-transform: none; letter-spacing: normal; word-spacing: normal; overflow-wrap: normal; white-space: nowrap; float: none; direction: ltr; max-width: none; max-height: none; min-width: 0px; min-height: 0px; border: 0px; position: relative;" > NO3-) sorption capacity of Midwestern US soils has the potential to reduce nitrate leaching to ground water and reduce the extent of the hypoxia zone in the Gulf of Mexico. The objective of this study was to determine the sorption and desorption capacity of non-activated and chemically activated biochars from microwave pyrolysis using selected biomass feedstocks of corn stover (Zea mays L.), Ponderosa pine wood chips (Pinus ponderosa Lawson and C. Lawson), and switchgrass (Panicum virgatum L.). Surface characteristics such as surface area and net surface charge have shown significant effects on nitrate sorption and desorption in biochars. Freundlich isotherms performed well to fit the nitrate sorption data (R2 > 0.95) of biochars when compared to Langmuir isotherms. Nitrate sorption and desorption was significantly influenced by solution pH and presence of highly negative charged potential ions such as phosphate (PO43-" role="presentation" style="box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; display: inline-block; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; line-height: normal; font-size: 16.2px; text-indent: 0px; text-align: left; text-transform: none; letter-spacing: normal; word-spacing: normal; overflow-wrap: normal; white-space: nowrap; float: none; direction: ltr; max-width: none; max-height: none; min-width: 0px; min-height: 0px; border: 0px; position: relative;" > PO43-) and sulfate (SO42-" role="presentation" style="box-sizing: border-box; margin: 0px; padding: 0px; display: inline-block; font-style: normal; font-weight: normal; line-height: normal; font-size: 16.2px; text-indent: 0px; text-align: left; text-transform: none; letter-spacing: normal; word-spacing: normal; overflow-wrap: normal; white-space: nowrap; float: none; direction: ltr; max-width: none; max-height: none; min-width: 0px; min-height: 0px; border: 0px; position: relative;" > SO42-) in aqueous solution. Chemical activation with concentrated HCl had significant effect on surface characteristics of biochars and enhanced the nitrate sorption capacity. The first order model fit the nitrate desorption kinetics of biochars with a high coefficient of determination (R2 > 0.95) and low standard error (SE). 2351a5e196
