Teaching 

I was an Associate Instructor at Indiana University from August 2021 to May 2026. 

• Graduate student observer (mentoring and observing other graduate student instructors). Fall 2025 and spring 2026. 

• Recitation leader for M106, The Mathematics of Decision and Beauty. Fall 2021, summer 2022, spring 2023, spring 2024, and spring 2025. 

• Recitation leader for M211, Calculus I. Summer 2022. 

• Instructor for J113, Introduction to Calculus with Applications. Fall 2022 and fall 2023.

IU's mathematics department runs several programs for advanced undergraduate mathematics majors in which I have been involved. For example, in Fall 2023, I ran a project with the Laboratory of Geometry, in which my students developed their own code for numerically finding approximate Neumann eigenfunctions of the Laplacian on planar domains.  In Fall 2024, I am running a project for the Directed Reading Program in which my student is learning the basics of spectral theory. By Fall 2025, the Laboratory of Geometry had been renamed to Laboratory of Experimental Mathematics and Mathematical Applications (LEMMA), and I taught three undergraduates about convex geometry and geometric probability with the goal of running numerical simulations of several theorems from each field.

Each August, IU's mathematics department hosts the Jumpstart program, which is a crash course for first and second year graduate students geared toward helping them pass their Tier 1 exams. In August 2022, I co-led the abstract algebra sessions for this program. The following links contain my lectures notes on linear algebra and ring theory:

Graduate Student Seminar

I was an organizer of IU's Graduate Student Seminar from fall 2024 until spring 2026.

Peer Mentoring Initiative

The Peer Mentoring Initiative (PMI) seeks to create a welcoming environment and sense of community among the current and incoming graduate students in the mathematics department at IU. I was a co-organizer of this initiative from fall 2022 until spring 2026.
