I am Lawan Abhishake Wijayasooriya, a Ph.D. candidate in Mathematics at Georgia State University. I am fascinated by the concepts in Mathematics and interested in exploring how to develop and use Mathematical Models in finding solutions to real-world scenario.

I obtained my BSc in Business Finance and Computational Mathematics from the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka. After graduating, I served as a Temporary Teaching Assistant at the University of Colombo, Sri Lanka and at the University of Moratuwa, Sri Lanka.

In the Fall 2022, I served as a Math Tutor at Math Assistant Complex (MAC) and I am a GTA for MATH 0999 for Spring 2023.
