Welcome to Law and Policy Laboratory
All products and services used by humans today are closely tied to the legal policies that support them. Currently, many countries are implementing various policies to enhance the competitiveness and acceptance of AI, based on promotion laws that build human and physical infrastructure, as well as regulatory laws that prevent social issues. Korea's AI industry will only thrive when it is grounded in legal policy research that takes into account both international trends and unique domestic characteristics. (Law for AI)
On the other hand, AI has replaced human decision-making in various fields. For humans, whose cognitive characteristics differ from those of AI, this may create new uncertainties, but it also presents new opportunities to solve challenging problems that have yet to be resolved. Therefore, we will compare the cognitive characteristics of humans and AI and explore the areas and the methodologies through which AI can more effectively implement legal policy requirements.
