This privacy policy is for the Iera Moni Megistis Lavras' Android application "Λαυριωτικόν Εγκόλπιον" and services provided as part of.

Data Collection

Approximate location information is stored LOCALLY in your device, for the app functionality, i.e. for the determination of the time the sun sets on your location. The user can opt-out by choosing not to grant the location permission, thus forcing the application to use a predefined location on Mt. Athos, Greece as default.

Phone Permission is also requested if the user wishes to call any of the phone numbers stored in the application's database of local phone numbers of Monasteries, dependencies and shops of Mt. Athos, directly from within the application. If the user does not grant the phone permission, this particular functionality is deactivated.

Network Permission IS NOT used, thus none of the above data collected, either directly by the application or automatically by any third-party libraries used are not transmitted over the internet or leave the user's device in any way.

At present the Application uses third party open source libraries to enhance its functionality.

The Application may use Google provided services (Android Support Library, AppCompat Library), users are advised that data may be collected independently by Google.
