Lavo is not a public consumer application. It is intended solely for the authorized drivers of our transport team. Access is limited to our own staff, and the app is used exclusively to coordinate cargo delivery.
To perform its single purpose — delivering cargo to the correct destination — the app accesses the following data:
Location data (GPS): When a driver starts a delivery, the app collects the truck's real-time geographic location (latitude and longitude). This is used only to keep our operator informed of the vehicle's position during an active delivery.
QR code data: The camera is used to scan a cargo QR code before departure. Scanning simply confirms that a specific load has been taken out and starts the delivery session. The camera is used only for scanning and captures no photos or video.
We do not collect names, phone numbers, contacts, messages, photos, or any other personal information.
The scanned QR code marks the beginning of a delivery ("cargo taken out").
While a delivery is active, the truck's location is transmitted only to our own operator, so the load can be tracked from departure until it reaches the destination, is unloaded, and the vehicle leaves the delivery point.
Once the delivery ends, location transmission stops.
To keep tracking the vehicle while the driver is on the road — even when the phone is locked or the app is not open on screen — the app uses background location together with a foreground service. A persistent notification is shown while tracking is active, so it is always clear when location is being shared. Tracking runs only during an active delivery.
We do not sell, rent, or share your data with any third parties, advertisers, or external services. Location data is sent only to our internal operator for the sole purpose of coordinating the delivery. No data leaves our own organization.
Location data is used for real-time delivery coordination and is retained only as long as necessary for operational and record-keeping purposes within our organization. It is never shared externally.
Camera — to scan the cargo QR code.
Location (precise, approximate, and background) — to transmit the truck's position to our operator during an active delivery.
Notifications & Foreground Service — to show that location tracking is active and to keep it running reliably while driving.
Access to the app and to any transmitted location data is restricted to our authorized team members. We take reasonable measures to keep this information protected from unauthorized access.
Lavo is a work tool for authorized drivers and is not directed at or intended for use by children.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
