What "classes" can campers take?
Please note:
We will do our best to accommodate interests, but classes/times are limited.
All campers will attend 2 missions presentations (one from Kim Ferguson from Hope Pregnancy Center and one from Nazarene international missionary John Moore) and a healthy friendships workshop from Jamie Allbach from Strong in Nature
Topics:
Calligraphy: learn how to create artistic script with ink and special pens. Make a project to take home.
Knitting: 2-3 sessions, learn the basics of knitting and make a small project to take home.
Soccer: Learn the rules of soccer and play!
Football: Learn the rules of football and play!
Dance: Move to the music! Learn dances to showcase for family/friends on Sunday, 3/12.
Build a bird house: Build a bird house to take home.
Bike maintenance: Learn how to change the tube, fix the chain, and other basic bike maintenance as time allows. Bring your bike!
Puppets: Learn how to put on a puppet show to perform for family/friends on Sunday, 3/12.
STEAM challenges: 1-3 sessions, use your creativity and science, tech, engineering, arts, and math skills to solve challenges. Optional showcase on Sunday, 3/12.
Acting: 2-3 sessions, learn the basics of acting, help write a script, and practice for a performance on Sunday, 3/12.
Bible Mysteries: 1-3 sessions, learn detective skills and solve clues to find out what happened in a series of Bible mysteries.
Creative Writing: Learn how to write better stories and poetry!
