How We Research
We compare products from their published specs and features; the verdicts below are our independent editorial opinions.
If you want an open-ear design that keeps you aware of traffic and a smart touchscreen case you can control without touching your phone, choose LavChic A39; if you need maximum total playtime and a conventional in-ear fit with the newest Bluetooth version available, choose Togetface Earbuds.
• LavChic A39 — biggest strength: Open-ear silicone ear hooks that sit outside your ear canal, plus a touchscreen charging case for track, volume and EQ control.
• LavChic A39 — biggest trade-off: 21H total playtime is modest next to the Togetface figure, and open-ear design means less passive noise isolation.
• Togetface Earbuds — biggest strength: 40H total playtime with the charging case and Bluetooth 6.0 for fast pairing and low-latency transmission.
• Togetface Earbuds — biggest trade-off: Traditional in-ear seal blocks ambient sound, which is worse for outdoor safety, and there is no touchscreen case or waterproof rating listed.
• Who LavChic A39 is for: Runners, cyclists, commuters and office users who want situational awareness and on-case controls.
• Who Togetface Earbuds is for: Listeners who want long battery sessions, a classic in-ear feel and the latest Bluetooth spec.
The A39 is built around one idea: keep your ear canal open. Instead of pushing a tip into your ear, it hangs a driver on a soft silicone ear hook, so nothing presses on the canal even after hours of wear. That is the whole point of the open-ear format, and it is what makes this pair genuinely different from a standard bud. The hook shape also holds position during running, cycling and gym work, so it does not need a tight seal to stay put.
The second thing that stands out is the charging case. It has an LCD touchscreen, and from that screen you can skip tracks, change volume and switch EQ modes without pulling your phone out. It also shows live battery levels for both the buds and the case, and supports multiple languages, themes and personal wallpapers. In my opinion that is the single most useful feature here, especially on a bike or mid-run when reaching for a phone is awkward.
Who should buy it: runners, cyclists, commuters on busy streets, and anyone who finds in-ear tips uncomfortable after an hour. Who should skip it: if you want deep isolation on a plane or need the longest possible battery between charges, this is not the pair for you.
Togetface Earbuds: Who It's For
The Togetface pair goes the opposite direction. It is a classic in-ear design in a skin tone, and the ergonomic shape is meant to sit securely in the canal for extended listening. That seal is exactly what gives in-ear buds their fuller, more isolated sound, and it is why the brand pitches them for gym training, walking and long music sessions. If you like the feeling of a bud tucked in and blocking the room out, this is the familiar experience.
Battery is the headline number: up to 40 hours of total playtime with the charging case, which is roughly double what the LavChic pair offers. For a week of commutes, a long flight, or a work-from-home day of back-to-back calls, that headroom matters. The case itself is described as portable, so it is meant to travel in a pocket or bag without fuss.
On the wireless side, Togetface uses Bluetooth 6.0 with fast pairing, low-latency transmission and a reliable connection for music, video and calls. A built-in microphone covers hands-free calls, online meetings and voice chat. Sound is described as HiFi stereo with powerful bass, clear vocals and balanced output — a tuning aimed at podcasts, movies and gaming as much as music. The buds work with most Bluetooth phones, tablets and computers.
Who should buy it: people who prioritize playtime and a standard in-ear fit, and anyone who wants the newest Bluetooth generation. Who should skip it: if you need to hear traffic while running, or you want on-case controls and a listed water-resistance rating, the A39 fits better.
Side-by-Side: Which Should You Choose?
• Best for outdoor safety → LavChic A39. Open-ear design keeps ambient sound audible while you run or ride.
• Best for long-wear comfort → LavChic A39. Silicone ear hooks avoid canal pressure entirely.
• Best for hands-free control → LavChic A39. The touchscreen case handles tracks, volume and EQ without your phone.
• Best for noise isolation → Togetface Earbuds. The in-ear seal naturally blocks more surrounding sound.
• Best for sweat and light rain → LavChic A39. IPX5 is the only water-resistance rating listed between the two.
• Best for the newest wireless spec → Togetface Earbuds. Bluetooth 6.0 versus Bluetooth 5.4.
• Best for a conventional fit → Togetface Earbuds. Standard in-ear ergonomics if you dislike hook-style buds.
In my opinion the LavChic A39 is the more interesting and more useful pair for most people who split their listening between commuting, the gym and the office. The open-ear hook design solves a real problem — sore ears and zero awareness of your surroundings — and the touchscreen case is a genuinely handy feature you will use daily. The Togetface Earbuds win clearly on one thing only, and it is a big one: 40H of total playtime plus Bluetooth 6.0. If battery endurance is your top priority, or you simply prefer in-ear buds, buy the Togetface pair without hesitation. Otherwise, I would take the A39.
The A39. Its silicone ear hooks are designed to stay stable during running and cycling, and the open-ear shape lets you hear traffic. Togetface is also marketed for workouts, but its in-ear seal blocks more ambient sound.
Togetface lists up to 40 hours total with the charging case. LavChic lists about 7 hours per charge and 21 hours total. Neither figure is a promise for your exact volume level.
Both use a built-in microphone. LavChic adds dual-mic ENC noise reduction aimed at wind and traffic noise, so it has the more specific call-noise claim on paper.
Neither sheet lists pricing, so I can't compare cost here. Check the current price on Amazon for each before deciding — the value call depends on what each costs when you buy.
