Lauryn Oberman

I was born and raised in Montreal. This is my third year enrolled at McGill University with a major in sociology and a minor in communications. I have previously attended Lower Canada College, for high school, and Marianopolis College, for CEGEP. On another note, I am a middle child. I have an older sister and a younger brother who is currently taking EDPT200 with me! P.S I am sometimes called lotus, so it was only fitting I made one the cover photo of this page.

When I am not in school or working, I enjoy creating art. The type of art I produce, among other forms, include paintings, drawings, and nail art. Once I receive my Bachelor of Arts degree from McGill, I intend to complete my law degree. Considering that fall of 2022 will be my final semester, I plan on working at a law firm and travelling prior to the start of the following school year.

The image on the left depicts my adorable puppy, Kobe. In fact, he can be considered what most are now labelling as a "pandemic dog." After he was adopted, my sister and I created an instagram account for him which has now gained over 5,000 followers! Furthermore, I appreciate spending time with friends, reading, or watching Netflix. In terms of travel, I have been to numerous places, however, Hawaii and its sunsets were the most memorable. Another fact about me is that I have an obsession with coca-cola. Despite this, I only drink it occasionally as I know it is not very healthy!
