Short bio and research
I am an applied mathematician, MSc (Université Lille 1, France) and PhD (Arts et Métiers Institute of Technology). I am currently an associate professor at Arts et Métiers Institute of Technology, Paris, France. I apply my maths to the field of biomedical engineering, in particular to medical imaging and biomechanics. I am interested in automated methods for 3D reconstruction of the human body from medical images using geometric modelling and artificial intelligence, and in the use of these models for diagnosis, prognosis and treatment planning in orthopaedics and orthodontics. I am also heavily involved in research into markerless motion capture for clinical and occupational health applications.
