Academic Research Overview

My academic journey is deeply rooted in Microeconomics, with a particular focus on Industrial Organization. The foundation of my scholarly inquiry was laid during my doctoral studies, which ignited a lasting interest in the signaling effects of prices and advertising on product quality, underpinned by the theme of asymmetric information.

A significant portion of my work has been dedicated to exploring dominant enterprises within the industrial economics landscape, alongside methodological contributions that refine our understanding of this domain. My empirical analyses span a diverse array of subjects, including experimental auctions, TV game shows, mergers, the viager real estate market, and chess tournaments.

In the realm of scientometrics, my collaborations have aimed to measure and analyze the research output of economists, employing a methodological lens to aggregate and interpret data in innovative ways.

Beyond these research endeavors, I have engaged in biographical studies of prominent economists, capturing their contributions and the broader impacts of their work on the field.
